A Few Questions About Line Chronics

I'll probably be getting these skis in a 185 for next season, I just want to clarify a few things before I pull the trigger. Firstly how is the flex of the ski? I know it has rocker so how is it for butters, ollies/nollies, etc. My next question is where to mount? I hear -2 is the "magic spot" for riding the mountain and park. I wouldn't mount dead center since I've skied on directional skis center mounted and personally it felt off. I'm wondering where core center is on the ski, since that could be a possibility. Really any comments on the ski are welcome, thanks a ton.

i have the 2011 i think (purple and green) and i love them. mounted them dead center for park and feels perfect for me. there not the flexiest ski out there but you can definitely still butter with them

Alright, thanks for the feedback! If the older version without rocker is butterable then the newer skis with rocker should be even better. I guess I should have worded the question better, I'm more interested in the ollie/nollie power the ski has, it just feels really nice to do a big ass nollie off of a roller and feel your ski spring you into it. Also durability, hows durability been?

Sounds awesome to me, I figure -2 will be a good mount since it sits between recommended (-4) and center so I get as much of the best of both worlds as possible. Worst case I remount another cm up if I feel thats necessary. HYPED

I have chronics. they definitly not stiff, but that also might be because i'm coming off of volkl walls. the rocker in the ski definitly makes them feel less stable at some points, but the rocker does make it really easy to butter all over the place a la mcslay. they are definitly fun skis and they work pretty well all mountian.

I ski almost 100% park on em and have em mounted dead center, if you ski mostly park, thats where i would mount it.

I have last year's Chronics, the ones without rocker. Really fun, stable skis. I'd rate the flex as medium-stiff, but especially now that they have some rocker you can definitely butter them.

I ski 95% park on them, mounted -2, wouldn't have it any other way. My friend has this year's rockered Chronics, mounted -1.5 and he's very happy with the mounting spot as well.

I have way back old school chronics (2010-2011) with the dead bear over it, and they were just awesome, unfortunately they past away last week after hitting too much rails, I'm a true rail rider (80% rails, 20% jumps). The chronics are really great skis, I had so much fun in the park and in the mountain, they are really great at both dead center and -2. At the end of last season, they started to be less stiff and they were really great for surface swap as butters. Good choice my man, I'm going back with new chronics next season for sure !

I have the 2013 Chronic's and they are center mounted, I find they are not super flexy probably medium but are really fun. Mine are perfect center mounted and i don't have any complaints!

Awesome info, I don't need two sticks of butter, just something I can flex and these sound just like what I'm looking for.

They're durable too, if you take care of them. I'm getting a third season out of mine. I wax them like a madman though, once every three days or so. Edges are worn (no cracks) but bases are still in excellent condition.

I make sure to detune, deburr and wax when necessary so thats good to hear. I usually put my skis through the blender when there's enough snow for urban so it's really important they last. I was considering blends for a while, but they seem way to wide for urban, CHRONICS
