Searchbar'd already..unless i'm just bad at searchbaring....

But

1.) What size PVC pipes should i use? I'm thinking 10 ft length but would for diameter or however it is measured?

2) I see that some people have their shotgun rails with a gap inbetween the two pipes, should i do that or put the pipes side by side and touching?

3) I plan on learning/getting good on rails in my backyard, should it be easy to take practicing on PVC over to an actual rail? Or is there a big difference?

Thanks to anyone who helps.

for 1. u can use wutever size u want mine is 1.5inches diameter

2. i dont know

3.its fairly easy to go from pvc to regular rails thats wut i did at the very begginiing of this season

you can use any size pvc, just look at the different size of rails at different parks. Just remember that if your gonna put mulitple pvc pipes down, the bigger the diameter, the bigger the gap is going to be when you're measuring from midpoint to midpoint. So i'd go with around one inch pvc give or take a little bit.

1. 10ft length is relatively short. 8ft is the length of most small skateboard rails you see on people's driveways... so if you can imagine 10ft is just a little longer than that. I'd try 15 - 20... that'll give you more time on the rail. Especially if you're just learning, a 15 - 20ft rail will help you learn balance and rail skills, while 10ft may not do the same as you won't be on the rail for long enough.

2. The further apart the pipes, the easier it is to slide. I'd put the pipes right beside eachother if I were you, because it will help improve your rail skills.

3. It should be fine, but know that PVC usually slides much faster than steel. This means that when you transfer to an actual terrain park, the rails may seem to feel 'stickier'. Just remember to keep a wide stance.
