A day/night in Toronto

Tomorrow 3 friends and i are going to Toronto to get ID's, I'm guessing we can pretty much go wherever after we get the ID's. What are some cool places to hit up in Toronto for a fun visit, we'll be there all day and night?
 
wait, wait wait... you live in canada (drinking age 18 right?) and youre going to a big city to get fake Id's because you want to drink but arent even 18 yet? so how old are you? and do a lot of canadians do this?
 
thats what i was wondering. kids can do whatever you want but getting a fake at 16 in canada is a little weird to me. whatever though.

so americans go up to canada to get fakes to drink in canada or in the US? or both? seems like a lot of trouble.
 
for clubs the biggest venue is circa, its between queen and adelaide on john street. That whole area is the club district though so if you dont get into one go to the next.
If you're looking for bars just walk 20 feet anywhere in the city and you should find one, but theres a sweet beer garden with 100+ beers on tap around front and church
 
Hang out in Kensington Market/Queen Street West... Maybe head down to the beach if its a nice day.
 
Go to Yonge and Bloor for IDs. From there go walking around Queen St. West. Not far at all and tons of sick stores/restaruants/etc. Then just find a club. They are pretty much everywhere. And if you have the munchys/need food after a drunken night, go to Belly Busters. Its open late and everyone goes there. It is on Yonge St. near yonge blvd. Hope that helps.

there is a sub place in the north york civic center food court thats a lot better and cheaper.

but of course you lawrence park bitches don't go above the 401 cause you scared.

and st.lawrence market for the chicken sandwich just inside the right entrance on front street.

i hear at jane and finch (in toronto) is a good place to hang out in the after hours. make sure you bring cash with you though, it can cost you
 
oh yea speaking of ghetto places, there is a good jerk chicken place in the peanut plaza north of sheppard on vic park. beef patties maaaan.

Yeah man i can't believe i forgot about Jane and Finch. Super dope neighborhood... locals are friendly too. Party starts around 2am there.
 
well compared to subway it might be fair, but where i'm coming from. the place called 'chubbies' in the north york civic center (mel lastman square), is cheaper and tastes better. and you get an assorted/bacon sub and a coke for 5 dollars.
 
not to be a downer, but you are fooling yourself if you think you can just buy an id at on of the shops at yonge and dundas, then use it in the downtown area, i live about 5 minutes from there, I was a bartender in the area for quite some time, you really get to know the local fakes. They will work for you, with confidence at SOME beer stores and lcbo's, some bar's even. Not a chance at any real club that checks ID's.

just my 2 cents, I once had a fake from downtown and it served me well, but expect it to not work all the time, and if they reject it, grab it back quick and just leave.

Don't know if its the same in TO but at the good clubs in Calgary you need two pieces of id to get in. So drivers license + social insurance card etc

The reason they don't go above the 401 is simply, they are scared black people will make fun of them, and make them feel less cool.
 
Every post in this thread has been a GTA local. This is awesome.

Like someone said above I would not get your hopes up about just buying an ID and walking right into the clubs like you own the place. It is not like the fakes that you get are ontario drivers licenses or anything. They are usually like college cards from out of province.
 
I got an ID from that place 3 years ago. HOW is that place still around and not shut down? Worked like a charm though, even got into Fallsview with it.

ye i'm from t.o. but this is my first full summer here in 2 years. so first real summer chillin around at de bars and clubs.
and OP, wrongbar, greenroom and andy pool hall are pretty chill, green room is more of just a sit and chill though. taphouse is apparently good? been there once but have no recolection of the event. and watch out for wrongbar some nights are the get mad gay nights, literally...unless you're into that..
 
On Yonge St, in between York Mills and Lawrence. Closer to YM though. If you are at yorkmills subways station, just walk up the bill hill. It is a block passed the Loblaws on the same side. Do yourself a favor and go there!

I'm sick of heading out to SinoPino's on Sheppard between McCowan and Markham.

I bet none of you LP bitches have never even been east of Vic Park.

Yeah, I know a couple of people that got fake BC ids. Tried to roll into circa and other clubs. Didn't work out. Not sure about guvernment though if thats what you're into.

Also the Beer Store only takes Drivers license. so if you're going to buy booze, lcbo for sure.
 
no, not when i know chubbies in the NY civic center exists. i suppose if i lived in the area and i wanted a sub and it was either bellys or subway i'd choose bellys and feel that the price was fair.

didn't they raise the prices recently?
 
there is a place at finch and leslie in the plaza on the north east side called congee wong. its open late and good prices.

my best advice is get two pieces of I.D. ESPECIALLY if your only going to be paying like $50. Most fakes are honestly crap as far as I have seen, the more pieces you have, the better the chances of you getting in places is.

Your best bet would honestly be to ask around people you know if anyone looks like you. those are far more legit than a shitty Toronto fake imo. Plus most people I know will give them away for the $10 replacement fee on drivers licenses
