A cool but unlikely idea

Hey

I was just thinking about this idea that popped into my head in school. It would be pretty sweet, get to know a lot of people on NS and see lots of hills. It would be sweet if we had a cross North America NS Ski tour. Get 3-4 coach charter busses and cram whoever wanted to go into them. Ns would talk to their sponsors and all of the resorts and get sweet deals for these people. We could spend like a week at each resort. Yah theres about a million problems with this but it would be sweet. The time to do 4 resorts would be a month if you stayed a week at each. The cost might be a bit much, people have jobs/school.

Anyway I know theres a lot wrong with this idea, so don't trash it, but I just wanted to say it. Cheers.

Yah, it would get in so many mags and I think it would attrach a lot of attention. I bet if we worked it out right we could make it into a charity type of deal and then raise money for something like cancer research while having a good time skiing and having our hotels paid for by sponsers.

That would look crazy 10 charter buses of all skier descending upon the slopes at 1 time...

Can we get matching outerwear too...and spread the word about ski halfpipe in the olympics in 2010

Another idea, that would be a little bit more doable, and perhaps be a launching ground to yours, would be to have NS days at various mts. See the faces behind the names, maybe have like a BBQ set up at the bottom of the mtn and get some companies to give away some swag.

^ that idea would be great. but since my hill is small we should get everyone to meet at one hill in a region. like midwest people to marquette or somewhere. and west people go somewhere. like regional forums style. i would love to go on a trip with ns people.

i'm brand spanking new here so this might already be done here...but here goes anyway...

an international car club i belong to does one big huge get together everyear where everyone comes to a certain city and they just rock out for like a week. why couldnt we do this with NS? each year choose a different "host mountain" and just have all of us totally take it over for a long weekend or something. We could even split it into regions or something...north east, west coast etc?

i dunno...i'm a newbie

that actually does sort of happen already in the form of d-jams... but it would be awesome if NS could get the money to do it nation/world-wide

sweet idea...but four charter buses wouldnt fit the amount of people that would want to go...but man that would be tight

nah, the hate on NS is E-hate, much like E-mail, kinda like mail but not the same feeling, im sure they would set aside their differences

lol, that'd be sooo funny to see. just these 3 mad buses full of newschool skiers lol. we'd all take over the park. that'd be intense

that would be fun. everyone would just be blazing on the busses and wed party a ton and we would destroy all the parks

ns has like 50 thousand odd members. obviously not all of them participate, nor would all of them come if we had an ns tour or whatever, but just a thought.

Well four busses should do it because whe you think of it how many people would acutally spend the money and could take the time off to do this? A lot of the people here on NS are in school or have jobs, unless their ski bums. It would be sweet to do something like this tho. If anyone from NS of Freeskier or some other company happen to see this try to do something!

(p.s. i want some credit for the idea!)

so true i bet like 5 fights a day over a 3 months trip....hmm thats alot of fighting.

i just think each state would get a centrally located mountain and then get the word out like a month or two in advance...the mountain would have to be decent...and that mountain would be an ns day...who cares if we get companies...i think it would dopppe to see like 100 new schoolers riding together

What about instead of a bus, NS just organizes events at mountains, post it on NS for anyone who sees it to be invited to. That would have a lot less problems associated with it.
