A community of copycats

Everytime I see a post by you I read it in a Milhouse voice and that was by far one of the funniest for some reason.

I meant "trying to" make their skiing look like Tom or Henriks not just dressing like them, hahaha, I think it's more like kids trying to afterbang, ride low like Henrik and copy how they ski. Whatever though, let any one do what they want, it's freeskiing after all. hahaha

You also got to remember that "back in the day" skiing was just being created and nothing had been done yet so new tricks and style was constantly being created and now in days it feels like it's all been done so thats y people seem as if they're copying the pros and taking their styles but everyone eventually does make they're own type of style its just being influenced by the pros like how skiing has been influenced by skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding etc.

tired of all the hate on here! skiing is an art, each rider has the right to interpret how a trick can be done by creating their own flavor. No two are the same. Immitation is the greatest form of flattery. To include someones style in your riding is not copycat. its giving credit where its due, its showing the world who inspires you. Turn down the negativity and turn up the positivity!!! PEACE!!!

You're stupid. Just because he doesn't wear a dress while skiing that doesn't mean he doesn't have style.

hahahahahahahaha

dude, that's they most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. how are you just going to generalize style into like 5 cliques within skiing? this thread is fucking stupid.

tanner, mcD, heed, keefer all changed the sport by introducing dramatically new styles, but everyone skis different so you could argue that everyone changed skiing

Im not 100% sure but I believe it was actually Lupus which can be a lot more difficult to deal with/debilitating than Crohn's. From what I hear Crichton is doing really well these days... that family has a ton of talent.

you are the greatest "over generalizer" i've ever seen. no one can be put into categories like this. despite subtle similarities, all these people have unique style and no one is copying anyone. they're all just skiing. once again, influenced by does not = copying.

what the bloodclot are you talking about homie

most inaccurate overgeneralization i've heard on this website in years

Dont be attackin' I may have made some Skip bayless generalizations, but u must admitt some skiiers are heavily influenced to the point that I cant even tell if I am watching Sig Tveit or Henrik Harlaut

sig and henriks skiing is very distinguishable from each other. I'm sure that if sig were wearing a different style of clothing or vice versa you wouldn't feel the same way
