A bold move by M.I.A

i think it's a definite statement about america, but not only racism in the country, but maybe the wars going on outside of them? and you know, i don't see why it's getting such a bad rap. frankly, it's rather hypocritical to attack this video, considering all the movies out in theaters and on dvd which depict the same amount of nudity, foul language, and violence, if not even more. yeah, no one wants to see it, but imagine people are living their life like that pretty much every day. that's why political music is important. awareness causes change.

Yeah i understand that it is making a statement on all this stuff but i think that the American flags being a representation of our government is kinda far fetched. This being a representation of us and how we treat people, i can see i suppose.

And to the comment on the nudity and violence in the video. If your opinion is that this isn't bad, i agree. Critics can shut up because a video making a "political statement" if that's what they are calling this is way better than some of the present movies with mindless violence, nudity. People in America can't handle shit like that they see in films when people in other countries deal with it on a daily basis? get real

These all have that shock thing going. Reminds me of this vid too. First saw it from K-rob.

I dont think its about gingers specifically, she just used them to show that people find meaningless reasons to discriminate against each other and that any minority which is treated as a 2nd class will develop rebellious tendencies.

what he said. i dotn really understand the main message of this one. someone explain? along with that grenade ping pong one.

i think the use of the gingers was mostly satirical, but i mean, they are widely picked on in england and i guess america? i have no clue about the latter. but yeah, it's probably used to prove a point

I think I might be the only one who actually liked the song.
Thought it was a cool departure from her normal style.Though I think I have a hard time hating anything diplo produces.
