A blog question. INPUT PLEASE

I know there is a similar thread right now, but I have a slightly different question.

We have a website, and a Myspace, and a blog.. I never update the blog.. I think the idea of a blog is cool, but do people read them?

if I updated our blog once a week.. would you read it? how often do you check on the blogs you do read?

the blog would relate to; Skiing, snowboarding, skateboarding and the products and faces in and around our shop.. (Decade)

the only ski blogs i read are the team ones on the front page.

I don't like blogs, because they often just become too disorganized, and they are normally boring. That, and blogging just sounds weird.

I only read blogs on here, and I don't do that very often, but when I do I would read a Decade blog.
