ok i know this is a heated topic that has been spoken about a lot, but i need to make it a new thread, whats better an insane stylie corked 3 with an insane grab, or someone throwing a crazy 1440, or if possible a 1620?

Whats 'better' is an odd question. I appreciate both, a floaty, styled out 360 is epic, a crazy hucked 1440 is mad ballsy.

style is cool but hucking crazy tricks is cooler

now what cr did is spin a 1260 and make it look halfway descent

thats what other people should try to do even if you are not grabbin just stay tucked up and it will look better the flalin your arms around

if i saw a 1620 off a huge booter that wasn't straight, i'd be way more impressed than a smooth 3, but in the end smooth, stylee tricks are usually much better to watch

^Exactly. The 1440 or 1620 would need to be pretty clean for me to appreciate it as much as a sweet corked 3.

Anything over 1080 is lame, 1080 is really pushing it too, 900 is pretty much were it stops. CR's Bio 1260 was one of the silliest things I have seen on skis.

^^^this is the reason slope style will be dead in a year or 2, because people are turning FREEstyle into upright aerials.not everyone can do 3's, especially corked. i'd like to see u throw an off axis 12... anyway, this year i'm not throwin any rediculous spins, just styled the fuck out jibs...the only way to save slope style is to HAVE STYLE

 
^I disagree making a smooth 3 or even a 5 is so sick! I'd rather see 3 and 5 over some sloppy ass 1080 or even 1440.

^because the technicality of that trick wasn't based on the style of the spin but rather the fact that he spun around almost twice and still hit the rail (even if he did only slide the last foot of it)

I think that you have to have huge nuts to huck huge spins, there are less than 5 people spinning huge now a days, and how many people are throwing styly 3's? a ton. I think that a 1440 would out do any 3 no matter how 'pimped out' it was.

just for a one time thing, the big spin, but unless the style on them progresses to the point the 3's and 5's and the such have, for the majority of the time i would rather see smooth stuff. but i mean a 1620?? if you dont admit that would be cool, you are kidding yourself.

the 1620 would be cool but anything with super style for the most part is more beautiful that something that is bigger but without style. I mean just look at some one pulling a really fast 7 v's a really layed out 3. the three is more beautiful. So, the cork 3 with a cool grab is better but I would like to do both.
