A-bay

how much is open, run wise and lift wise...i heard they have a mini park set up with a couple rails. i feel like everyone and there brother is going up though and its only been open a couple days...
 
Finally, the current setup has been pretty much horrible. It would have been so much better to just have separated the box and rail to begin with.
 
45 minute lift lines today... I wouldn't be caught dead there on a Saturday and especially not on Halloween Sunday. Not unless they open another lift which probably won't happen in the next 8 hours

 
honestly... you all should just go up to berthoud. there's 2 good sized kickers and 2 rails set up. there'll be nobody there so you'll have it all to yourself, stop being such whimps and going to a ski area with 1 or 2 runs... :p
 
Ahh Nate you should have hit me up earlier, I had spots and whatnot. We are doing early morning shred/park hike then sending it to Woodward for the rest of the day.

Ok speaking of good drivers... I had class all day and i woke up at 8 for my 9 am... felt like shit and decided not to go, popped in Network (cuz i just picked it up yesterday) and then next thing I know... my ski socks are on my feet haha.

I literally got to Keystone in an hour and 5 minutes.... I have NO FUCKING CLUE how.. hahaha. My roommate left an hour before I did and by the time i was walking to the gondy, they only took 1 run hahaha

Haha well our friends car broke down and his roommate is on his way back from Grand Junction... we were gunna go chill over there but now I dunno... a lot of those guys went to Cecilias... but now we are getting crepes.
 
Mmmm haven't had crepes since I lived up there! Hope you got nutella, bananas, and honey or somethin like that.
 
ha my b. They are no where near as fun. though. Since ive been post whoring, I'll go ahead and actually add to the thread by saying I went to keystone today, and it was fucking sick, Parks set up a little weird, but the features are on point.

Doesnt have anything to do with A-Bay, so I guess I'm still not contributing... Oh well, i'm over it ha
 
Truth. I would not go to keystone if I didnt ski park... and I probably wouldnt go to keystone if breck were open haha.

stoked for next weekend! yee! we need some snow though for real.
 
It just snow squawed here in breck for about an hour. Now its bright and sunny. Abay Im sure got hit too. Speaking of Abay......yesterday the park was money because everyone was at Keystone aka 'Flatstone' doing polish donuts down the last icy headwall which is all that place is fun for early season if you ask me haha. My polish donut record there is 5 in a row.....after that Im dizzy as fuck.
 
Hahahahh I only got 2 yesterday. But we drove by Abay in the morning, honestly looked just as crowded till about noon when key got nuts. The park set up is worlds better though.
 
what's a polish donut? is that where you just spin around? i can do that for days. trying to ski straigh afterwards is the hard part haha.

hit up keystone yesterday and abasin in the afternoon. a basin was empty compared to keystone and the runs open were way more fun.
