Does anyone know if they got any snow up there this week. I know that there has been a lot of rain in the area, so I was wondering if they got any snow up there. I was thinking of going up on Saturday.

I don't think they've had much new snow, but their base hasn't changed much, so I doubt they have had much rain. Their website gets updated really regularly. I think the weather is supposed to be crappy all weekend though.

 
is it worth it to get the pass that gives you the rest of this season, next, and 5 at breck/key? ($219)

the five mountain (unlimited breck, keystone, a-basin and 10 days at either vail or beaver) is the best deal. the copper pass isn't bad either cause you get winter park, too.

i'm/we're trying to get something together barbeque-wise after school gets out (well, for me anyway). i'm planning impared, but check the regional forum for updates every once in awhile..

they got a shitload of snow last week, my dad works up there and he said it is sweet and that there is tons of snow and they will be open for a long ass time.

there is a reason to go. They have an A Frame BOX! I guess it is pretty cool. Plus the East wall always has a good wind lip to build a jump off of.

where on the east wall are you talking about a wind lip? you mean right as soon as you enter the lower east wall traverse or somewhere upper??

 
Traverse a little, and then it is pretty much right there below you. It may not be as big right now

a-frame box sounds sick, plus i think they have like 5 other rails.....im stoked that they have a park now!

they've got 2 big booters up now between the upper lift and the west wall. but i've only seen one boarder go off and the landing didnt look too polished.

the basin rules. fresh snow today was awesome.

 
i heard somewhere (dont remember where) that with their new snowmaking they were thinking about maybe trying to stay open year round in a couple years? this is probably just a crazy rumor, but still think of the possibilities....

Man just get the Copper pass, Copper is the only place worth riding in Summit County, although A Basin is a close second.

2 booters? I've been up there most weekends and there's only 1 booter, 3 rails and the a-frame box dissapeared last week. They're supposed to get snow this week, they only got like 2' last week but the week before I skied 3 feet of pow. That cornice on the west wall was sooo much fun, you could just huck yourself off it and not worry about getting hurt.

I went up today, they put the A-box, a step up, and a smallish table up between the Norway lift and the West wall. I didn't hit any of it because the light was super flat.
