So, yesterday I only had time for a 1/2 day session, so my buddy and I decided to hit up the basin, which we don't often do. Lucky for us, the lower east wall opened up right as we reached the top for our second run. Untouched powpow all morning and we left right as it was all getting tracked out.

Still some sketchy rocks in spots, but all in all a sick pow day when I was definitely not expecting one!

Did you see it in the newspaper this morning too?!

Damn it, I was there on Monday and they were only letting some people in. I waited for it all day but they were only letting some 'special' fags in who couldn't even ski pow and were falling all over the place. U lucky bastard! Did they open any of the chutes above east wall?

hahah yueah it was funny watching people make ugly ass lines down on monday. Hit it up when it opened. pretty fun.

 
Skied basin on saturday and it was pretty chill. I get kinda bored fast at basin though, so I hit the park a bunch. They have a pretty cool hip, though nobody cept me was even hitting it. The booter at the end of the park is pretty nice to.

 
the hip sucks right now. Once they reshape it and get rid of the icey ass landing i'll start hitting it again.
