A Basin this weekend?

I think A Basin should be open by this weekend. The webcams look pretty good and Als blog suggests they will open soon. What do you guys think?
 
lets hope, they wont say when theyre opening yet but that ALS BLOG is poppin. Ive been checking that thing daily lol.

Either way Keystone will be open soon as well...
 
Loveland just announced they're opening Thursday morning, though they've definitely received the better natural snow and snow making conditions the past couple weeks. Thinking there is no way ABasin will let Loveland have a whole week to theirselves! I'm hoping for Friday!

Yeah I just saw that!!! Stoked for them, they may beat the basin for the first time in a while!
 
Al does a awesome job of keeping us up to date, but he has been dodging a definitive opening date! My guess is there wont be much notice and it will be a "we will be open starting tomorrow at 8 am" the day before!

But like someone said, Keystone November 6th!

I believe Keystone is November 6 but it's definitely looking like Abay will open this weekend

Al is a huge fan of the dramatic unveiling but that tends to happen after hype similar to what he's putting out now! See you all Saturday??
 
man im really hoping for a friday opening, i got no class!!! realistically id say saturday, but friday would be perfect
 
I will be up a lot once A-Bay opens and I shall see everyone up there! Couldn't be more excited.

From Al's blog ".and the snowcat drivers are going to start dozing tomorrow, Wednesday. Having snowcats on the hill "IS" a good indicator for how well snowmaking is doing."
 
Drove by this morning and things are starting to look good. Id be surprised if they dont open for this weekend. Al is sure to announce it as soon as he knows for sure

Did you see what keystone looked like? I want to know if they have good snow cover or if I shouldnt expect anything soon.

Keystone was blowing allll day. I have no doubt that they'll be fine to open on the 6th... cant wait for that rail garden up top
