A-basin....Loveland??

Does anyone have an idea on an opening day? If you look at the sites...from what i see i could see loveland opening very very soon ...and the basin even sooner from pictures ive seen...any input would be awesome...unless you actually know a date?

hmm...i was just up around loveland and a-basin today...and both have there snowmaking eforts far under way...i can see a opening date sooner than that...especailly since there in a race

Is that date official? I've been checking the websites, along with coloradoski.com which has an opening day race web page (www.coloradoski.com/resorts/opening.cfm) and its hard to tell; in my opinion, they could open really soon, but loveland claims '24 inch base top to bottom, side to side, before we open'

Anyone with a ride from Boulder out there this weekend let me know

 
abasin is well known for starting rumours. i remember the same stuff last year happening. time will tell, time will tell

 
i got an email from a-basin claiming to the earliest date as the 18th...but before the 31st obviously with the snow we have this year...and loveland has 24 inches on all but the base area so...i bet we could see an opening in a week or two there

yea loveland has the right to...all the shit there is 24 inches side to side except the base area and there working on that right now...theyve even got there cats out...maybe the 18th

A-Basin the 15th straight up. I have faith. Go to skiloveland.com and look at the ridge cams. Summit got some sick snow. They will open.
