A B2 stealth bomber just flew over my house

thats why the restriced area is above your house FAA regulations dont allow aircraft to perform manuevers over populated areas. I know its the air force but they still have practice in almost empty areas just incase something happens. Im a pilot thats why I know that
 
b-52s are old as hell, but not WWII era.

Can you describe the supposed "b-52"?

since you live in england, a spitfire might be possible.
 
and you're probably thinking mustang, not spitfire....or corsair...but not spitfire.... i personally know one of the people who owns one of the remaining spitfires, and he definately hasn't flown with a b-52.
