$99 Alpine Pass

I think i'll buy one, I'm going to be at Alpine during spring break, for 99, I think it'll pay off.

Speaking of which, who wants to show me around Alpine? I need someone to show me some s1ckt0r lines and whatnot.
 
by the way, when does alpine meadows usualy close? I don't want to buy a spring pass if its only going to be open until the end of April.

Someone said that they announced they were open until June 1.. When and where exactly was this said or was it just rumor?
 
Its usually open till mid to late May. You still have a good two months left dude..$99 is cheap and you'll make it up riding there three times. I dont know where people are getting this June 1st date, post the sources!
 
Ok, theyre open to mid-late may, but how good is it? Back east, I remember skiing Killington in may, they'd make all this snow on one run and it would stay until memorial day usually, but wasn't great and there were no park features obviously.

So, how good is the skiing late season? Do they still have plenty of park features to the end?
 
Usually a good amount of snow till the end. They will close Sherwood lift earlier than the rest, but it doesn't really matter. The park is usually sick for a while. If the weather is really hot, it may make it harder for them to groom, but they do their best. They also may close earlier in the day due to slushy snow conditions.

You should ask the park guys on here about the park deal. The main quesetion you should ask yourself is "how many days do I plan on riding there?" If your answer is more than four, BUY.
 
i guess i was the one who said june 1st, but that was a bit off because i had just heard on the radio "end of may"

spring conditions are spring conditions, no matter how slushy there is always one jib to sesh mang.
 
4skizzle and i are getting them. there's nothing wrong with having another mountain to ride...hopefully we'll see you guys there.
