Yes just bend the breaks and your good (or get your shop to do it)

Yeah you can bend them with a vise, just be careful to not bend/break anything besides the break arms.

yeah it's not uncommon for shops to not like this but it's because theyre just parroting what the official copy from companies says. really they should know from experience that it works fine (better, even; my B95s on my 96 waists have too much overhang for my taste) but you can't expect all shop guys to be experts (regardless of how they see themselves lol)

go to another shop if you can, if you can't just try to talk to them about it. maybe even bend them a little beforehand so they can't tell you they're catching

i've had shop dudes help me bend B75s out for 95 waist skis. if the shop dudes actually know skiing shit irl you won't have a problem
