'95 was a good year..

FUCK your totally right, I didnt realize until I noticed that about 75% of those albums on the list are played on my ipod regularly .

Rime Knits knows whats up. Golden Era of hip hop.

your list was made even more valid when you included Group Home one there. cant talk about 95 without them. That is some of if not the best of Premier's work. ALL YOU PUNKS HERE THIS!

pretty sure vakill said it the best,

"it's ight to show the late greats love, but some of yall are riding dicks and don't know it like a date rape drug"

the typical backpackin hip hop fanboys playlist consisting of the normal "underground" artists(immortal technique, mf doom, jedi mind tricks, ect) is lyrically on another level.

such a recycled arguement though....

it's all about mainstream r&b these days anyways...

BoB - Nothin On You , track of the year.

99.9% of this site could find better skiing to better music in half that time youngster
The Mobb Deep in Everyday is a Saturday is straight throat slittin, 96 real shit yo

that track was in Chad Muska's segment in Transworld's "Uno" in 1996, when he was like the Tom Wallisch of skateboarding. everyone watched that segment 100 times. i'll bet you it wouldn't have been in candide's seg if it weren't in Muska's.

Word, glad to see there are a couple heads on NS! Anyone listen to the new Wu-Massacre album...? Meth, Rae and Ghost - pretty ill lineup...bringin it back to the old school.
Speaking of old school, we're doing a limited re-release of the Purp N Dirt hat from last season, so if you got dreads or are diggin' the floppier fit, you should act quick! http://www.rimeknits.com/store/special.html
All the other caps are still 19.95 to praise such a dope year in hip hop.

"The Grouch" from the Living Legends also stepped on the scene in 95' with his first album "Don't talk to me" which features some fucking dope tracks. He continues to drop CD's with classic hip-hop influences to this day.
Check him out!
