914 FIS vs 914 Lab

I know that the FIS is a race oriented binding but what are the differences between these two? Weight? Height? Overall, which is better?
 
I would guess that the FIS designation indicates the bindings have the maximum allowed lift. I really don't know though. If you don't get any good replies here. Try the "Tech Talk" forum on TGR.
 
I'm pretty sure the FIS also the LAB model have a 5 hole heel mounting pattern opposed to the 4 on the normal bindings. There also just a little burlier/more durable all around. I've got 2 pairs of the reg and 2 pairs of the lab and the lab is the chron.
