90's music

I've been listning to alot of early 90's music lately, and ive found out that some of the best music ever came from that time period. but alot of the stuff produced then has been forgotten. Whos your favorite band that played or was formed in the 90's?

Personaly im partial to third eye blind.

Early 90s were sick. Some of my favorite albums from that period would include pretty much any album by Smashing pumpkins and Nirvana. Sound Garden's superknown album, Tool's Aenima and Undertow for a darker sound. I used to listen to Silver Chair's frog stomp, Stone Temple Pilots's Creep/core/tiny music albums and Bush's sixteen stone album a shit load also. the mid-late 90s sucked though. "alt" rock lost its edge. Just like indie rock is becoming over saturated. They all sound the same!

my favourite 90's bands are smashing pumpkins, sublime, modest mouse, and greenday(every album they released before american idiot was money. I could listen to that shit forever.)
