90mm waist for park and groom?

any ski is going to work fine on groomed runs. I don't know why its not as nice to have a wider ski, prolly sumting about not enough edge-to-edge. But whatever. As long as your not chasing gates I wouldn't worry about it.

90 would be for park only, IMHO, cause they wan't work as allmountain. you'd ski as on 2 snowboards. i may be wrong

you are very wrong.. 108 waist works fine on groomers

don be skurd

i demoed a pair of the head mad trix mojos... big ski but worked great on groomers and such... they just take a couple days to get reall used to them cause it takes longer to go edge to edge but they those will work fine... i say do it

mojos are far from a 'big ski'.

yo poket rocket is sick on groomers... 90 waist... made'n ak great on groomers it's like 108... dont fucking worry... doug bishop uses mojo's in the park. Edge to edge trasnsitioning is slower... dont expect to be doing short radius... just buy them and kill it.

dude, i skied my made'ns for the first time yesterday and when i hit a few groomers, i was able to carve great turns. personally i like wider skis. i ski pistols most of the time, which are large underfoot too and they are great in the park and groomers. I actually prefer the pistols in groom over my chronics

as long as the ski is stiff torsionally it will be fine on groomers. with wider skis this becomes more of an issue, unless you make the ski either stiffer or heavier, both of which are negative carachteristics to have in a park ski. so if you wanted somethig to ski park and groomers, i would go for around an 80-85 waist, it will hold better on ice due to the torsional stiffness, and it will be lighter to hit the park with.

Well, pistols work everywhere on the mountain. The 189s are a bit long for park, though. Just my opinion, there.
