In midst of all of these albums coming out like wattba and mac millers, this album i felt like got slept on. Honestly one of the best projects from tde in a while. What do you guys think about the album?
 
I have no idea what wattba is but 90059 is better than that other retards album you mentioned

That future/drake collab. And yeah im agreeing with you, idk how those got more attention than an actual album like 90059.
 
It's a little better than the rest of the big names right now but Jay Rock isn't a great rapper, he's nothing special. This album is just a bit below average in my expectations. Half the songs were trash, some had alright instrumentals but the lyricism just isn't there.

Hail Mary Mallon's Bestiary is a good recent hip hop release if you're looking for one.

Yeah hip hop is sorta bland right now. Besides the black hippy song the album only has a few good songs. Wattba was trash, metro boomin just makes generic beats and future is wayyy overhyped. Slime season was okay, new juicy j mixtape was meh. The only thing decent right now is rodeo but even then travis got a little more basic bullshit trappy than I would've liked.

Can be just get metro boomin, zaytoven, and London on da track beats to calm down for a while? Rap is over saturated with them and it's putting me to sleep

Defiently see what you're saying but all those guys are just making trap music which is all good but not much real out rn( i liked BDAL2 tho haha). Also all those producers are making generic shit although i kinda like esco. Still good stuff being put out, not dead yet.
