90-100mm rockered ski that can hold an edge in GS turns ?

looking for an all-mountain type rig to fill the gap between volkl ones and line chronics. I want a ski that can actually hold an edge nicely in medium to fast large turns.

My first thought was bent chetlers 100 but I’ve read on here they’re way too soft to carve hard.

I was keen on the blizzard rustler 9/10 but I also read they’re good for short medium turns but fold up when going too large at high speeds

im trying to replace armada TST which are pretty fat around 100m and a lot of tip tail rocker yet carve great GS type turns. Any other ideas? I’ll probs be touring on them too but weight ain’t much of an issue. No need for full twin tips any amount of tail rocker is fine to ski backwards imo.

The bent 100 is not rally that soft in my opinion. But it’s still a twin so not going to rock gs style turns as well as a directional ski. The rustler is meant to be good I have not skied them but my girlfriend is getting them.

But it I would say look at the mindbender 99 or mantra if you want to be crushing those hard pack turns.

The Fischer Ranger 102 FR definitely deserves a look. Of the 100mm+ skis I've used with twinned tails, it's the best when it comes to carving turns on firm snow. Skis like the Mindbender 99Ti and Volkl Mantra M5 or 102 are better when it comes to high-speed turns on firm snow, but if you don't need the most stable ski, want a bit of playfulness, and a lower weight, the Ranger 102 is excellent. Coming from the Chronic and One, I'd recommend mounting the Ranger 102 around -6 cm from center.

The Rustler 10, particularly the new 19/20 one, is a solid option as well. In my brief experience with the new ski, it still starts to feel a bit hooky when making really long turns, but it's a lot of fun to carve anything up to GS-size and the new version is a bit more damp than the previous (pre-19/20) versions. Compared to the Ranger, the Rustler 10 is more forgiving, more playful overall, but notably less stable at speed.

Liberty Origin 96. I have the older version (17-18) which has a ton of tip rocker but can still carve like a motherfucker. The Blister review for the version I have describes them as a "more game-on TST" (https://blisterreview.com/gear-reviews/2016-2017-liberty-origin96. I believe the newer version has a bit less tip rocker so it probably has even better edge hold, Blister did a review on it as well that I'd recommend reading.

Only thing I have to say is that they don't hold an edge very well when conditions are super firm or icy, but other than that they are a fantastic ski to rip GS turns on.

How'd you like those in trees/moguls? thinking about picking up a pair of the early versions

Love them in moguls. I heavily detuned the tips in line with the recommendations from the Blister review I posted and it's worked out very well. They are a decent tree ski but surprisingly not that loose for the amount of rocker they have. You definitely need to work to get them to pivot in tighter spots. I ski mostly in the East have the 182 cm model to help get through the tight trees we have here. Overall a fantastic ski and I think the high-speed stability and strength in variable conditions more than makes up for the fact that they are a decent amount of work to ski in tight trees.
