9-11 tomorrow

fucking canadians have no respect, go eat some poutine and suck a fucking cock.

sorry mat but show some respect man.

i dont like 9-11 catch phrases.

"war on terrorism"

"nine-eleven"

"ground zero"

that's all. by holiday do you just mean everyone should get the day off? if so, i agree.

ive been hearing shit about how bin ladin is threatening and shit. im hella nervous, plus i go to school 5 blocks from the capital right in the middle of the city

Yes, alot of people died on 9/11, but do you realize how many people die each day in darfur, or sudan. WE dont even care, and thats a problem.

yeah but its the same problem we have always had. i think a presidential candidate could gain some support if they took a stance against this racist view that africans are somehow not equvilant to other societies facing similar situations. just because it isnt the #1 oil producing area doesnt mean we shouldnt help...

butttt this is america, and we lost many american lives. that isnt racist, thats the same way everyone else in the world does it. its a day of rememberance. this is america. not sudan. its going to take prominance over other issues since its about us.

stop trying to see the negative in everything that i post.

i meant, yes, everyone should get the day off, it should be a day that we use to commemorate and respect the people who died.

my question was simply asking what he meant by "holiday", because "holiday" is a weird name to call a day that's not for celebrating, so i was wondering if he was just using the word "holiday" to refer to a day off. jerk.

now thats some stupid motherfucking redneck american bias right there, followed up by some more bias by CLUBBBER LANG!

i pity you, fool.

my uncle died on 'nine eleven'. and i just want to say, fuck you America for letting it happen. and FUCK YOU again for using it as a means for propaganda and war.

u need to relax, try not posting some holier-than-thou comment for once. so you have a kid. big fucking deal.

happy birthday too you

happy birthday too you

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAKERS AND STOWEBUM

happy birthday too youuuuuuuuuuu

do we have a national holiday where people get of work for the attack on pearl harbor?

do we have one for VE-day? VJ-day? what about the oklahoma city bombing?

No. we don't because if we as a country decided to start letting some days have more meaning then others things would go downhill. i already think we have too many national holidays of being off work.

reaed the whole thing before you hate.

I hate the stupid catch phrases too. They don't reall ymean anything. It's so stupid. "ground Zero." why it that we associate that term with the trade centers? that's a term that has been used forever for hundreds of different things.

I also agreee with analbumhole or whoever that was up there...  and I aslo agree that it's rediculous how much time, enerygy and money is spent on world Trade Center memoializing, and hoe little we pay attention to anyone besides ourselves. It's stupid and selfish.

Not to turn this thread into a rant against the creator or anything, and i am also NOT saying that I don't think it was a huge tragedy and loss for our country, because it was extremely tragic and way messed up. I couldn;t imagine how it woul dbe to have someone close die in the WTC. I just can't stand the hype

i have much sympathy for u, but blaming america? and saying they used it as propaganda for war...thats a terrible thing to say.

how can you say it wasn't? bush pretty much said on tv, 9/11,osama binladen, afghanistan, iraq, then the war started. noone questioned him because america was so gung-ho to catch binladen that they didn't realize iraq didn't have a damn thing to do with it

no, we went into afghanistan at first, he didnt even mention that saddam may be connected to 9/11 til long after we were there...but i do get that americans after 9/11 began to think ...middle east=terrorists=9/11

Right, there wasn't a reason. but the american people were lead to believe it was in connection to 9/11 and the war on terrorism.......hence the propoganda comments above.

yeah, we also TOOK Iraq with minimal troop losses.

Four years, 3,760 americans, and at least 100,000 Iraqis later we're still tied down in that quagmire.
