i cant believe how judgmental some of you guys are..its fucking rediculous..if you are correct than post evidence. thats all i ask for..evidence. show me these pictures. ive never seen them.

i cant believe a thing out of loosechange..sorry. its a rediculous theory, but my opinion of the pentagon has never been shaped by any type of video like loosechange.

i didnt mean to phrase it to sound like "scare tactics" sorry. i just want people to remember what actually happened that day. people in this country live life on a "fast-food" mentality, they seem to forget things relatvley quickly. rembmber why we went to war rather then try to blame our government for some rediculous event.

And with that, I give up. I could post anything and you people would find a way to deny it. Even if I found a shot which showed the entire empennage intact, tail number still readable, next to a half burned boarding pass clearly reading "American Airlines Flight 77," inside the Pentagon, you would say it was photoshopped or the government staged the photo or something. There is no point in arguing with people who consistently choose to shun reason. I'm done. If your mind is really open, do some research. You'll see that the only conspiracy around September 11 is that of a bunch of paranoid fear mongers trying to convince people that the government is out to get them.

The story behind it? They're pictures of the landing gear assembly of a Boeing 757 in the Pentagon. Missiles do not have landing gear. What the hell more do you want? Again, I'm over this. Go research for yourself if you're really interested in seeing if there's any legitimacy to the ridiculous conspiracy theories out there. And for the love of God, find LEGITIMATE sources, not unconfirmed hearsay from unqualified or anonymous alleged experts or witnesses.

A legitimate source would be one that is scientifically sound, written by someone qualified to write on the topic, and (if possible) PEER-REVIEWED, at least as far as all the engineering-based theories on structural failures. And also, everyone knows the 9/11 Commission report is seriously flawed. But look at the NIST report, which is much more valid.

 
Has anyone watched Zeitgeist ? I think its Zeitgeistmovie.com . Everyone watch it if your skeptic about 9/11 and the conspiracy or whatever. It talks about chrsitianity and religion stuff in beggining but just wait until middle when it talks about 9/11. Pretty crazy stuff if its all true.

It would just be nice to have answers to some of these questions. Not implying anything at all about a conspiracy or something, its just that some specific details seemed to be quickly brushed over by the commission report or were just never addressed. And especially if known experts are trying to raise the "WTF is going on" flag.
 
My jaw continues to drop at the statements you derive from NOWHERE..i never said it was a missile, i never said any of the conspiracy theories are legit-actually i said they are not-loose change. i did my research and found nothing that confirms any solid evidence on either side.

because planning and executing the attack is one thing for the terrorists, but they took credit for what they did. However, for our government to pull off such a task and make it seem like it was somebody else, plus get a terrorist organization to take credit for it, and cover all of their tracks, plus doing so so recently after a presidential switch, meaning that both clinton and bush had to be in on it. That is unless you think they could organize this operation in less than a year. Come on man.

My only question is why? Bush was in office 9 months before 9|11, hes fresh on the job and yet now he has to deal with one of the most important events in modern history? Imagine being in his shoes and finding out that terrorists hijacked planes and flew them into buildings killing 3,000 people and you just got your foot into the door to the white house, who would want that? Secondly, what did they have to gain from it? I find it very hard to believe that they wanted to fire up Americans so we can go into Iraq and do what? Free them of Saddam Hussein after we realize they DONT have WMDs? It doesn't make sense to me, I think its definitely more rational to believe that angry terrorists did it to make a statement. And people always talk about "evidence" and how things "dont add up", like when you supposibly heard explosions. Listen people, not many times in our life are we going to see huge planes flying 500mph into buildings, and of course we arent going to be experts in what happend because it just never happends, so of course some things we wont necassarily understand

I usually don't reply to these 911 threads, because I find them irrelavent and people end up argueing in circles, and the fact of the matter is that the whole ordeal was 7 years in the past and none of us was there or involved in any relavent function regarding the ordeal. I only replied because several people suggested that the US government isn't capable of pulling off a flase flag operation like this, which is extraordinarily naive. Of course it doesn't mean they would do it even if they were capable. The fact of the matter is that the policies that they're using the incident to justify are just as fucked up, regardless of who exactly was involved in bringing about 911.

Also, I'm anything but paranoid. I understand enough to know that the government doesn't give a fuck about a middle class, white, American college student, even if I'm a little inquisitive. It doesn't make any financial sense for them, and thats the primary concern of those in power. Even if I had a good grasp on some of the backhanded and somewhat evil functions that our government and society helps perpetuate, I'm not really in a position of influence where I could change anything but my own life, hence they don't give a fuck.

I would also challenge you to consume more types of information, than "peer reviewed political science books and journals." no one is right 100% of the time, so wouldn't it be better to have multiple opinions on each subject? that way you can choose between the two, and make a logical conclusion from there.

not really funny knowing that thousands of fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends and huge companys were perished... I dont think it was a scheme what so ever, it was an act of terrorism for sure, i remember that day so well, real scary. I remember being in 4th grade and my dad worked as a stock broker in a building sraight across from the towers. My mom came and got me with my sister and they were both sobbing because my dad wasnt answering his phone, all day, and all that night. My mom thought for sure he was dead but didnt want to tell us so we had to wait a whole 36 hours untill we heard from him. He told me that he heard a very loud sound and thought it was a bulding being demolished, but he thought it was still a little louder then normal so he told his partners he was gunna go check... When he went down he saw tons of smoke pouring out of the first tower in where people were screaming that a plane just hit the tower, at first he thought it was an accident... but when he saw the 2nd plane came in, he knew it wasnt an accident, he ran up to his building and told all of his buissness partners to get out, then he went to the bottom of the towers trying to help people... He described the scenary in which i cant even imagine, he was speaking real slow and studdering so much. I have never seen him studder in my life... He told me that he would see people holding hands and jumping out of the windows and hitting the ground 30 feet infront of him... He also told me he would see people running out of the building trying to escape and huge pieces of glass would fall and litterly cut the peoples in half... cut peoples arms off, legs off, and sometimes straight down the middle. he stayed as logn as he could and then sent the night at his friends appartment over night, the phones were out so he didnt call untill the next day... real scary day

i have my own, story about 9/11. i was home sick on that day, i was setting watching TV and the phone rang, it was my aunt. she "said turn on any news station". right as we switched, i saw the second plane hit the towers. i was honestly in shock! what was happening? why? and who?

now to compound all these emotions, my own "dad" is an airline pilot and was flying out east that day.

thankfully it was not his plane.

and your right drew, i dont "know" it was terrorists, but i believe with every bone in my body it was.

 
My friends dad was supposed to get on the first plane that hit. He got stuck in traffic and missed his flight- one lucky dude

i know a lot of you won't end up watching this but even if one person does its worth it. www.zeitgeistmovie.com. its a 2 hour documentary and its not only about 9/11 it goes into religion and the real powers behind our government. before i saw this film i felt like a lot of people posting how the conspiracy theories are wack and just crazy people trying to stir shit up. but this is legit. definately watch it if you have the time.

The problem with almost every major man made disaster or event is that there is always a conspiracy created from it, whether it is or is not true.

-JFK Assassination

-9/11 Attacks

-Any assassinated president

That lists just a few but in almost every event/disaster there is reasonable evidence to suggest a possible scandal or conspiracy even though evidence leads it in the opposite direction. Determining what is face value and what isn't really is in the eye of the beholder.

In fact, your own link doesn't say that the FBI was BEHIND the bombing, just that people botched the intervention that was planned, allowing the bomb to go off through something all too familiar: INCOMPETENCE.

Incompetence is a horrible thing in such a matter, but it isn't quite on par with malicious intent.
