There are deeper "levels" if you want to call them that but my take on it is a large portion of the information is random data cataloguing society (yes, your facebook is being monitored but no one gives a fuck) and so on.
 
absolute horseshit. when you do research on the deep web, like legit one, not some forum posts or whatever, its not half as bad as anyone makes it to be.

there is quite a lot of information out there how the internet works and to think that one needs so mythical and complicated ways of storing some weird shit in some fucked up URL is pretty far-fetched.

and i am pretty sure that 95% of the gore/rape stuff is fake as fuck. the worst part is probably the CP, but apart from that i cannot see anything criminal or mystical about it
 
This all sounds like a load of bullshit a mad computer nerd would come up with just to convince himself and others his life is worth living another day.
 
He speaks the truth, and since there are no monitored I.P addresses you can literally mail order illegal drugs and stuff to your house.

How is relative security important? You can still get caught buying drugs or downloading CP because TOR is not terribly safe.

If you are just browsing, downloading some books or music, or posting on TOR chan you will probably be fine. If you buy an ounce of weed or what have you, you run some very high risks.
 
TOR is pretty good at keeping you anonymous. Buying from silk road is actually pretty secure. I don't know about CP and other crazy shit, but your probably not gonna get caught on silk road. And if your still worried about getting caught just download more security on your computer.
 
Sorry I meant to say in relation to Firefox, safari .etc Obviously its not perfect, nothing anywhere on the internet is perfectly secure. I do have a few friends who have bought pills through TOR though, you'd have to be up to something pretty dodgy for anyone to bother tracing you through TOR, IMO.
 
This is true. I have a friend who orders pill and shit through TOR. Of course it's possible to be traced, but no one will bother unless you do some crazy shit, and if you do you can always get more security.
 
Well the Archon shit is obviously a load of crap, but other than that no one said that there was anything mystical about the deep web.
