86-year-old woman driving wrong way on highway

How in the world do you not notice hundreds of cars honking and speeding right at you?!
And how did she not get hit? Must be some good drivers around there.
 
she caused 4 accidents from people swerving out of her way. and she must be straight up demented to have done this in the middle of the day and not notice

And to ^^. She probably didnt notice she was on the highway and thought it was just a regular road, shes 86... Fucking hate old people drivers.

This happened last week. i couldnt believe it when they said that the woman driving the car got away. She just exited off the highway in the wrong direction and kept going and there were no cops around??
 
lets back track to about half an hour before she got arrested. She was on the phone with her daughter, this is how it goes:

Daughter: mom are you on highway 27?

Mom: uhh, yeah why?

Daughter: holy shit mom be careful, there is someone driving in the wrong lane

Mom: Trust me Lucy, there's way more than one
 
i say we put her to death and teach people a lesson about endangering everyone else on the road.
 
And this, ladies and gents, is why there should be mandatory yearly reaction tests for people above a determined age, if they want to keep their drivers license.

That was nuts. It was insanely stupid but nuts. That guys got some skill. and riding down the double line inbetween 2 way traffic.
 
SO FUCKING SCARY. I was driving down the interstate and I looked across the median and saw an old guy driving the same direction as me. I was thinking no fucking way and he looks over at me, gets a confused look on his face and then looks and sees oncoming traffic and pulls the fuck over.

I laughed sooo hard, glad nobody got hurt.
 
haha. by the time some of us get to that age, the 20 year olds will be bitching at us for not driving the hover craft well.

i think that old people should be required to renew their drivers license every 6 years or something starting on their 60th birthday
 
A lot can happen in 6 years.

It's really hard to determine an interval/cut it age for stuff like that. A lot can happen to someone, mentally, in just 1 year. You'll have 60 years olds with hardcore dementia, and then there are 90 year olds who are still sharp at a tack.
 
God damn. She should never drive again. I'm all about second chances but she is way to old to be driving. And clearly she just showed it.

also I'd be surprised if a law requiring old people to get retested to drive would pass. old people vote. politicians don't want to be seen as being against old people come election time
 
Having a Drivers license is a privilege, not a right. People need to be re-tested once they hit a certain age, this video is proof.

i agree, although this system would still prove more effective than what is going on now.

it's not hard? stick hand out window with camera. video tape while driving with one hand (think texting but probably safer lol)
 
I saw this happen in the spring on 89 in VT right by the memorial rest stop, the lady must have come the wrong way out of the rest area. Was some scary shit seeing soemone drive at you on the highway.

On a side note, why the fuck is newschoolers being retarded and not letting me do anything to what I want to post when I click off the text?
