first of there is only one x in styx, and they were mostly popular in the 70s although Tommy Shaw made a come back in the late eighties when he joined up with some ex-night ranger band members and Ted Nugent to form Damn Yankees

you'd have to be more specific...I am a self titled leading authority on everything 80s...especially the music

obviously I'd recommend any of prince's music...from '78 to present....it's hot shit if yu let yourself enjoy it...try 'let's go crazy', or 'i would die 4 u', 'baby I'm a star' all from the purple rain soundtrack, those songs will make ya wanna dancelittle funk little soul and a lotta rock' n roll
