80ft Hip

so i go to check my snow report this morning at www.missionridge.com and this is what it says:

Largest hip in the NW - 80ft! 30ft wedge, 2 15ft tabletops, 20ft flat box, c-box, shot gun rail, upflatdown box, another hip and 25ft tabletop and "in process" with more pumper bumps and rails to come.

same old shit as always except for the FUCKING 80ft HIP!!!...we don't even have a place on the mountain big enough for that. the park has been down for rebuild for a week now.

is that a typo or do any of you have anything even close to that size hip?

well i guess i'll see first thing in the morning, but i can't stop thinking about it. i got a tape measure out and that is huge even for a straight ass air!
 
that has to be typo. that's bigger a hip than most tables or step downs kids on this website have hit. I certainly have never hit anthing that big
 
we have a 65 and a 75. im broken so i cant hit them, skialpine.com or look in the clifornia forum for pictures of alpine.
 
but you gotta remember its a hip so people can go as big or small as they want. hips are one of the safest features in the park. just because its 80 feet long doesnt mean people are going to be hitting it huge. some dumbass will probably try to clear the whole thing who cant ski down a black diamond though. what im trying to say is that you definitally could get hurt, you just have to be a fucking idiot and try something thats out of your league
 
still, the place i ski made a 90 foot table, but the level of skiing at the place i go to couldnt really handle a 90 footer
