my cousins were there when it happened, they had to run away from the wave and they could see people gettin swept out into the ocean behind them, they were on the news, it was pretty intense

the papers reported that some british guy rode the wave inland as he was out surfing at the time. when he got closer to the shore he and to dodge debris and dead bodies to get to safety. seems pretty authentic story as it was in one of the main papers..
