X Games is only the biggest corporate whoring of skiing and by no means the pinnacle of competition. it's actually only the "Dumont vs Hall" soap opera that ESPN builds up

the real pinnacle of competitive skiing is the US Open. that is the event that discovers new talent and truely progresses the sport. all the x-games does is bring the sport to the masses.

HAHAHA... I made a post about this earlier after I saw it when it was on TV for the first time. Probably one of the poorest excuses of commentating I've ever witnessed. I don't care if you don't know shit about action sports, it is obviously impossible for someone to land forward doing a rotation of 560 degrees. Plus he fucked up a bunch of other stuff too.
