70 Dollar shipping fee?

Evo Gear has some crazy deals goin on,and when i click checkout,they want me to pay 70 dollars to ship it to Alberta,Canada,What the hell!!!
 
Shipping prices are what stop me from being a compulsive buyer. I see some dope deals, maybe like 60 dollars for a hoodie..then find out that shipping is 40 dollars, and decide maybe i dont need a new hoodie that bad.
 
Shipping via UPS or Fed X from the US to canada is not cheap, not to mention the fact that then customs will slap down a tax or fee on top of it so that is prob why it is soo expensive to ship from US to Canada
 
thats what i thought...

i would talk to someone at evo, tell them i want this thing, but this shipping is outragous... can you help me out? i know backcountry gives free shipping on anything (even under 50) if you ask, basically.

its ok to tell them that by the way, telling them they aren't ask good as the compition (nicely) is a good way to get what you want.
 
Thats not bad.

I just got a few quotes to ship some skis up to ONT from Wy for $62 & $66 USD.

I think Evo is in WA, depending on where its heading to in CA that doesn't seem outragious for skis. THat should include all custom taxes which could be alittle hefty.

Hell it cost $25 just to ship skis in the lower 48.
 
sucks to be you. be pro active, call them up or sometihng and see what they say. it may work out
