NS Party - We rent out a bar in montreal, and NS buys like 6 kegs, and all you have to do is tip the bartender...

Or... loft party! I dunno.... big NS party would be sick though.
 
Welll yeah, but we're not rich enough to get everybody totally knackered... so we could have like free drinks for NS members until the beer runs out,and then make sure it's cheap after that.

Oh we could ski somewhere too?
 
Well the only way to have a real NS party is if we can find a venue that will allow underagers in there.

Then we have a truck out back with booze there. ;)

with a very select under-18 list. they would all have to wear big ass rainbow colored collars to prevent the serving of alcohol.
 
fuck ya, the problem is you pretty much only get the east coast kids and then im rich ass westerners. so it couldnt incorporate everybody. but you would need like a good 40 kegs.lol
 
Two problems: A) I doubt that more than 150 people would actually come.

B) 40 kegs would be good... but it would also cost like $6000...

So the whole concept I was going for is that if we threw a party and chipped in for a bunch of beer, people who came would get 4-5 beers for free and then buy drinks at the bar after it ran out.

In terms of the underage thing, I know that's a problem... It's just easier to have a party at a place that's used to hosting parties, and usually those places require you to be over 18. Hey, at least in Montreal it would be 18, and not 21!

How many underage people would actually make the treck up to montreal and be able to stay the night?

We'd have to think about hotels and shit...

It would be cool if we could get everybody up to a small resort, where we had hotel packages, and a party at the hotel bar.

Val St. Come would be perfect, but I'd really wonder how many people would actually come out to it.

If we wanted to have a starter party, we could just claim the D-jam at Val St. Come as the second official NS party...

How many people would come out to that?
 
i would go for sure, as long as there was like a 6 month advance notice so i can start savng my pennies.

4-5 beers for free sounds damn good to me.

are you talking about like an outdoor party at the base of a resort during summer type thing?
 
At this point, I'm just talking shit.

However, shit talking can eventually end up as real ideas....

I think it's easier to have an indoor party, there's less permits and whatnot to get. Somewhere that's used to hosting parties works really well, 'cause you don't have to worry about all the bullshit. (hiring cleanup crews, security, shit like that)

So I don't konw... what do you think? It's not like anything is set in stone, but we have been talking about doing something like this. So we have to start coming up with ideas someday...

1. Summer/Winter?

2. Day of skiing/Just a party?

3. At a resort/In a city?

4. Accomidation/take care of yourself?

i see what you mean when you said it would be easier to have an indoor party, but since we're all skiers here i think the outdoor atmosphere would just be money. leaning up against the chairlift, drinking a few beers, asking people what thier ns name is... mmmmm. shit, i'll help clean up afterwards. as much as i love skiing, i think the party would be better if we were to not ski and just have it during the summer. we could definitely get a good vibe going and it's always good to miss skiing. it would be cause for good conversation with some of the people you meet. as far as accomidations go, i think the party would be plent on your guys' shoulders, and should be left up to individual people. as far as i go, i'm sleeping in my truck. ;)

this is just one mans opinion.
 
no. it's going to be the gayest shit possible so everyone will know who you are. how about flourescent pink with unicorns on it. hmmm... well i guess you guys could just take it off so this won't work. okay we will tattoo a unicorn on your forearm. everyone with a tattoo can't get beer. word.
 
fuck beer ill bring my own shit. and NS party would be quite dope. if some of the pros on here came, thatd be pretty cool. and just to actually meet doug and the mods like ghostdragon...that would be insane
