i've been in philly for a while not but commin home for thanksgiving and christmas.

hows springs lookin? worth checkin out?

anyone going this weekend? what about free skiing at hidden valley? worth the trip or stick to springs?
 
springs was sick opening weekend. almost all of the mountain should be open by this friday, and the park setup was awesome. i wouldnt risk hidden valley with how good the springs has been looking
 
yeah, springs has been killer. great early start and park setup is pretty dope. this was first wkend of free ski at valley. a couple of us went over just to take a few runs and couldnt even get in the parking lot it was so crowded. they got interactive webcams on their site so you can check it out.
 
haha i know its fucking november, were skiing and people still find something to complain about...people are WHINERS
 
just wondering who has been there the past couple of days. do they still just have the foggy goggle setup with no rope tow?
 
yeah, same setup no tow. slopes were pretty icy, but park was killer today. the landings were real soft. you could fall all day (which i did) and still be fine
 
cant wait to get to the springs. tho this weekend i think im going to the valley b/c its free and some of my friends want to go there. also just found 150 bucks in gift certificates from the springs while cleaning my room yesterday!
 
i was up there last night and it was the same. but this morning it now says features in Santa's Beard. Anyone seen it today?
 
The beard and the foggy bowl are open and the alley will be open on saturday as long as the rain dont kill us... were setting up mad jibs and a few jumps so make sure to check it
