How did you like the park? I think maybe more jumps woulda helped. The wall was pretty sweet and the 50 fter.

 
I went there twice but they only had their old park up, you gotta love the hession park. I really wish I could have gone more.

THEY NEED JUMPS! when i went there there were no jumps, except for a sick looking 40 foot table, but it was closed, jumps jumps jumps, thats what they need, rails are good, but jumps!

yah, there were jumps in the begining of hte season but then they took most of em out and put in some rails.

 
I agree with the jumps idea. At the biggining of the season, in the smaller park, there was a table top, one of the first hits, then they took it out...replaced it with a box. I remember two seasons ago there was a 1/4 pipe where most of the new rails were this year. NEED MORE JUMPS!

 
check it out in two seasons...i got into this whole thing and now i'm designing the new park. they'll be a different set up like this as you look down the hill:half pipe on the right, rope tow, rails in the middle (plus diff ones), another rope tow that goes up higher, 40 ft table jump where it is, only done right with a 60 ft quarter pipe down the side by the trees to seperate it from the north face. the rails are going to be the old rollercoaster box, battleship, and the longest flat rail plus new ones, and s rail, c box, flat down flat, and a flat up...i'm seeing about putting in a wall somewhere but i dont know if they're gonna go for it...so heads up for that one :)

who are the right ppl you've been meeting with. whens this gonna happen? 2 yrs. is this all for the backside park?

 
the right people would be Scott Bender (president of operations), the Dupre's (half owners...and i dated their grandson, so I got in tight with a lot of people), Dick Barron (head of ski patrol and he also oversee's the ordering of new chairlifts and rope tows...and also, next winter, there's gonna be a high speed over at gunnar and the expansion is happening, so we're gonna have the longest steepest slope in the mid-atlantic). yeah this is all for the backside park cos it needs major help, the front park is ok how it is i guess for little kids to piss around in...any other questions, ask away

Are you talking about the expansion of the new slope on the backside of lost girl? Because if you are, that would be very sick.

well no re-building will be beginning this summer b/c they are getting the new high speed and doing the expansion. but everything should be ready to go in 2006

A longer tow rope would be clutch it was such a bitch to walk up the hill just to get some air off that jump to the left of the pipe. The rails were sweet but I agree with everone that they need more jumps. The wall ride RIP board was nutz but it was only open a couple times.

 
yes they usually have a couple comps a year...but they usually aren't till later in the season...it takes 7 springs soo long to put up all there park shit

and the comps are ridiculously gay...

the 'phat'air comp has been good about 1 year out of its 4-5 year existance at springs...

although you might be interested in the snoopy race...tons of fun lol

Seven Springs is the greatest ski resort in PA. I love it essically since my cabin is like 5 miles away. When they open the GREAT WESTEREN EXPASION that place will be the place to be. Santa's Bread (The Little Park) is fun to mess around in but it's a little to small. Plant Ollie World (The Big Park) is sooo much more fun to mess around it and to try new stuff. After they put that sick 50 footer in that was awsome. But two years ago they had the skier cross there and the had a 30-40 ft. spine and had a 50 ft. wall off to the side. But The Springs has some pretty cool poching area's to ski.

 
HESHIAN SESSION WHOAAAAA....see there was no 50 footer this year sorry to tell ya...rails were a lot better but jumps blew my ass...next year will be sick though. What they need to keep improving on is the fucking RUN A GATE, i love the tunnel and the huge burms...so technical but amazing

yeah thats the truth...and how come this fukeneh character and i do not know you if you post here...we ski springs all weekend every weekend, for the last like 5 years. so other than lenzner, we are the tellers of the truth about springs.

well let me introduce myself. Some people call me lauren and some drew. I skied 2 or 3 days a week at the springs till I was 18 and moved away. Now i ski there 2 or 3 days a year, but if you see me there skiing around one of those 2 or 3 days, say hi and make some runs with me.

 
so this whole western expansion / rip off of snowshoe thingy, that gunna be open fer next year?

Hey i really need a place to crash up at springs, i only live like a half hour away but i need to stay for more parys this year

sweeeeet, anyone trying to have a rail session that night up there? theres an ice rink in somerset bear the ramada and ive got 2 10 footers i can bring up but i don't have a truck to haul the snow. If someone has a truck and wants to session that night post back soon so we can get things sorted.
