you heard wrong. no body was a dick, all the pros were having fun joking around. i was in martinis group and he made sure that he rode the lift with everyone and he stole like four 2 liters for our lunch haha

if by dick you mean super chill and awesome to hang out withall of the salomon guys were awesome martini, clarke, symms, j arens, tommy, seth, jenny, everyonerogge and papasteeze were reppin for ns too

I was at 7 springs with a bunch of friends of my gf's and I, but didn't pay much attention. Had one of the worst days of my life that day (well not that bad) got stuck in snow on a wrong turn, scraped up shin and wrist from pushing the car out of the rut it was in (for like 1.5 hours), forgot my camera (or i mighta have some pics for you guys), friend got ran over by the lift cuz of a dumb ass lifty and twisted her knew all the fuck up, friends' car window fell into the door and just stayed down and a bunch of other things. I brought my hellbents along with my park skis just to ride them to get used to them (didn't want to dry run them for the first time out west w/o getting a feel for them) and ended up riding them all on that sunny ass day, that was the highlight of my day. Def tons of fun, but other than skiing it was a crappy day for me and missed the jib academy stuff, saw the awards stuff going on and saw someone that was prob pro but couldn't recognize him.... he was wearing some sorta purplely pants with some other kinda color, kinda tattered too, was riding switch down the hill like a mad man through a narrow trail.... steezy.

that was so funny. I was at the table with him and all of the sudden Symms yells "Larrick has NS stickers!" and it was like a freakin swarm of cannibal sticker hungry newschoolers.

haha, yeah, but the stickers were dope. i got a newschoolers.com diecut and a big NS diecut out of that. plus everyone got like 20+ assorted salomon stickers during signups.

oh, and papasteeze, if you see this get an edit up!

i was in his group and he was skiing switch to the lift and some old asshole freaked out because he was "skiing the wrong way" it was so funny.

That was so funny! Dude: You almost hit meSymms: No, dude you almost hit meDude: You arent supposed to ski backwardsSymms: Thanks i had no ideaDude: Do you want to have a talk with ski patrol?Symms: Yeah that would be a great way to spend this beautiful day of skiing Then the guy skied off to his friends and gave them high fives. It was hilarious!

ya it would have been awesome if papa got shots of that, i started climbing over people and they were like whats going on? "NS STICKERS!" (que mad swarm)

one of the pros (i honestly cannot remember who) was taking pictures of the battle for NS stickers.

funny, but while all the kids were going crazy for the tiny ns stickers, there were 6"x6" diecuts just sitting on the table. i just casually took one and also got one of the newschoolers.com ones.

our group did four runs through the alley then a bunch in the spot. both parks were open to the public during the coaching then the spot was closed for the finals, finalists, photographers, and SJA participants were the only ones allowed in.

only dave wright would poach the jumps during the finals to hand drag the knuckle on the first jumpall the little kids were asking why's that kid skiing over there, and i just said don't worry about it, that's dave wrightahahaha

lol and that kid in the blue almost hit him! I think the kid in the blue had a lot of style and was a strong contender for top 3 even tho he didnt place.

what i want to know is when we will have a legit line of good rails, not that tiny alley shit, but a large feature line.

dont get me wrong, the alley is fun, but it gets old.

they had that one that was like 10 ft high, the half rainbow thingy. It was pretty fun, then that flat bar at the top, that is the hardest flat bar i have ever done (everyone fell off the side of that thing). And all them urban shitz.

The half rainbow is too short but the flat bar was straight cash i loved that thing. I wanna see some editsss

what? that thing was getting greased all day. next time just focus on the end of the rail.

oh, and speed is of the essence. come in hot and slide it to the end.

i have like video shots and like 20 pics, but not all the pics will upload and i dont think it is enough shots for an edit
