7 Springs opening day 2016

Springs has an assload of snow (for PA standards) and they're still blowing. I'm guessing they're gonna open this Friday. Anyone going?

INB4: "hehe ur stupid the snow is gonna melt" Springs was able to stay open through a week of 50+ temperatures and rain last year with only 2 days of snowmaking beforehand.
 
Holiday valley has less snow and is open saturday so I would assume 7s would follow suit. Probably gonna see how tnite goes and how much rain hits.

How many jibs do they usually have out opening day? Trying to figure out if I want to drive 3 hrs and shell out 58$ to ski. Leaning towards not doing so.

They had a pretty nice setup on opening day last year even though it was 70 degrees out. I'm guessing they'll have the beard open
 
It looks like they laid down a pretty impressive base. They still have the snowguns going. Pumped that I'll be able to ski this weekend
 
State playoff football game is Friday so I won't be there for opening but I'm hoping to get up there Saturday and Sunday.

Also, does anyone know how long the Springs season pass office takes to get ur picture and print out a pass for you? I still need to get mine but I'm worried I'll be standing in an hour long line

Takes a few min. It took less than five minutes to have mine printed last year, but I went on Christmas Day and there weren't many people there.
 
How was springs today? I'm thinking about making the voyage from Ohio and wondering if it's worth the 58 bones. think it'll still be good by Sunday?

I went opening day, all I can say with certainty is that the snow will definitely take a hit over the next few days. It was lightly raining all day. Park was better than brandywine though

The Springs got an inch or 2 of fresh snow overnight. Idk how much of an impact it will make but it still looks good on the webcams. I'm hoping to go tomorrow.
