This guy is absolutely crazy.

So this guy in my town went to two different houses yesterday killing the people in them. He went to one house and killed 3 people, including one child and then moved on to the next house and killed 4 others, including another child. He was just released from prison within the last year. He was driving all over town yesterday firing bullets everywhere and managed to hit 2 others who are now fine. There was a high speed chase through downtown and then he was going the wrong way down the highway. He ditched his car and kicked in the door to a random house where he sat while the police just surrounded him. He was holding 3 people hostage in the house and threatening to kill them. Late last night he ended up taking his own life.

What is the world coming to? I would never expect some random guy to just come kill 7 people in my town.

not much you can say....what a fucking unnecessary and senseless crime. vibes to the families who have lost somebody. that's awful
 
This is by no means something new, it is just shocking to you because of the close proximity of the event

I feel seriously bad for families in your town that - i cant imagine going about your day completely normal only to have this asshole end your life on a whim

I wish that piece of shit didnt decide to be a coward and take his own life...I would have enjoyed the fact that he would have to rot in jail for the rest of his life while other inmates kicked the absolute piss out of him everyday of the rest of his miserable life because there is no death penalty in mich
 
yeah i was kind of dissapointed when I found out he shot himself because I would lilke to see that too and maybe an explanation
 
I don't understand how he was released from jail after murdering 7 people. Is that even possible??... or did i read something wrong?
 
saw this last night... not the way i like to see my home state represented haha. prayers and vibes go out to all that are affected by this tragedy
 
I work about a mile from where he was holding the hostages and I heard helicopters and stuff flyin around during work tonight. And last night I sold bullets to some crazy ex-military guy that was all paranoid and sounded like he was gonna go kill the guy himself....
 
I heard Gun shots, while driving downtown. Then shat myself, then drove home to my safe suburb home away from crazy black men with guns. I was within a mile of one of the killings
 
I've got an explanation for you. He was crazy and suicidal. Crazy people do crazy things. There's no logic to it, no secret motives.
 
No he was released from jail within the past year for almost beating someone to death. And then he just went on this killing rampage

Pretty simple you made a condescending comment about gun ownership in a thread about people who were systematically slaughtered. A situation where even a liberal douche should be able to see how a gun could have SAVED LIVES.

Victim----- In post/ mind meant someone who does not try to protect themselves instead relies on others

you want a reason why you should own a gun? well here it is. First family has a pistol in their closet, game over, the story is done, the bad guy is dead, and noone else dies. Its so unfortunate that stuff like this happens, but like I said one gun could have ended this immediately.
 
Why allow people guns which makes this type of thing happen more often? Yes in this case a gun would have helped them defend themselves but surely the safer and logical option is to simply not let anyone have guns. I personally think guns are status symbols and irrelevant in the society of today.

Criminals will get guns no matter what. If they're illegal, it doesn't mean shit to criminals. If they're set on getting a gun, they will. Banning guns will leave the normal, law abiding members of society vulnerable to the crazies. You're ignorant to think otherwise.

reduce the quantity of available guns and it makes it harder for them to get it. a lot of them will give up. now its so easy that anyone can get one and go nuts.

plus, a lot of people are normal nice people when they buy the gun. then something goes down makes them go nuts. what is the worst scenario? One where the normal guy goes nuts and has a gun in the next room. or one that goes nuts and has no weapons. your country has the most guns and by far the most murders and armed robberies, isnt it time you change strategie. Im not ignorant, I call it different oppinions.
 
also look at other countries with different strategies... so many countries have next to no guns and they are all doing better than you.
 
Haha where do you get your statistics? Not true, at all. The problem is, you can't "reduce the quantity of available guns". It's called a black market. Convicted felons can get guns, even though they're not supposed to. People can easily get fully-auto AK47s, even though they're illegal. Laws don't mean shit for people who are determined to kill.
 
when you say better..... do you mean in terms of freedom? or odds of not getting shot? Because here we don't like to trade freedom for safety. Same goes for drugs, illegal fireworks and street racing... I wish.
 
This shit happened in my "back yard". Let me tell you, if you had any large quantities of drugs to move that was the day to move it. Every police scanner freq. had everyone going after this guy.

I should take a pic of my facebook wall. Many of my friends refused to leave work/and or their house yesterday.

The world is all fun and games until something serious hits close to home.
 
how bout you try looking up some facts you dumb fuck. There are SO many facts that support people owning guns. after florida legalized their concealed carry law violent crime went down 40%. Crime rates are MUCH higher in states that dont allow ccw's. Deaths from mass murders dropped 91% after right-to-carry laws were passed. Virginia has NEVER revoked a CCW after over 50,000 of them, that means that not a single person has committed a violent crime out of those with a CCW. There are a ton more obviously but you probably wont take any of this to heart anyways. Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it more difficult for sober people to own cars.
