7 feet in four days!!!!!!

Same here in Montana. We could've stayed open longer, but nooo. The resorts are worried that they would be losing money for staying open longer.

why do people try to use this as if people from utah care?? we don't ...it doesn't fucking matter! you just drink more!

It's sunday and am looking at some unopened beer. Planning ahead doesn't take that much effort.

Utah from April on has been so wild this year.

so stoked to move out there next season. i wish i could fast forward through time but still make all the money i would this summer fuckkkkkkkkkkkk

Yeah some places may if are open for too long.
But closing in the first week of April? During a powder day?
that's walking the line between crazy and practical.

yeah sick for all you with snowbird passses, sleds or skins. snow all you want, but don't rain in the valley or in park city. its biking season damn it!

88 degrees with thunderstorms building. My only consolation is that somewhere up high, the rain that falls was previously snow.

Resorts set closing dates and advertise for those dates. If a resort was to stay open longer because of good snow pack there would not be many tourists that would come because of the short notice of extending the season.

A lot of resorts are located on National Forest and lease the land from the gov't. It is possible for them to get an extension but it does not happen very often.

I just got back from closing day at my home mountain, it dumped ALL day today, and tomorrow is staff day. Thankfully for me, I am staff!

well where you lack in snow you make up for it with the vikings!

and im not being sarcastic..
