686 Sizing

I apologize for putting this in the wrong section, but I need an answer ASAP. I'm a little guy (5'5, 28 waist) and I need a new pair of pants. I'm looking at the 686 Smarty Cargo pants, but I dont know if i want them in a small or xsmall. I'm basically done growing, but if I'm going to spend $200 on a pair of pants, I dont want to outgrow them (or for them to be excessivly baggy).

always go with the bigger size. if its too big, then so what, you just got more baggy steez but if its too small you'll hate it.

Thanks, but I'm a 28 and probably won't be a 30. I just dont want these pants to be hanging off me so I look like all the other Dumont-wanna-bes on the hill.

Plus, if your pants are too big you get major wind resistance. In the park, this isn't a problem, but some of us actually ski outside the park (not to point any fingers).
