686 quality?

I don't have anything by them, but my dad has one of their jackets from about 5 years ago (sorry I don't know what it's called) and he told me that it's a great jacket, super warm and it doesn't have any rips or anything after 5 years of abuse.
 
i had a 686 jacket for years and it was one of the best jackets i have owned. not sure what they are like nowadays though.

And if no, tell me what color would go well with red pants.
 
I have had a pair of 686 snow pants for the last 8 years or so. They are phenomenal snow pants, extremely warm, quite waterproof even after years. They have suffered a few minor cuts here or there, but nothing that keeps me from wearing them still. Great stuff.
