Yo did you all look at the stats for this year between the bird and Alts. Alta got 650 inches of the best snow on earth and the bird which is still counting cause they are still open only go 584. It fucking wierd how they are so close but yet alta kicks ass and the bird licks sweaty nuts

 
Ya for sure, it is not the birds fault. But there is a geological reason why alta gets more. Cause of the way that the mtn. sit and how they circle up at alta

 
Including a shitty attitude and vibe. I hate going to the bird cause the tram line is always such a fuckin fashion show. The bird has lots of beaters too, most of them on boards.

 
haha what corporate asshole tells you how to ski man? Does a guy come down from the offices in a suite yelling at you about your form or something?

 
oh, i see, snowbird doesnt care about their skiers, huh. is that the reason they are the only resort to stay open until their snow runs out?

you cant try to justify their late spring season as very profitable

 
Oh well everything else snowbird does is fucking cheap as hell. including t heir pipe, terrain parks, comps....how they never build any big tables...what else?

 
Bird has better lift accessed terrain, you can get way more vert in daily at the bird. I still like alta because I know it fairly well. Although alta you gotta hike for anything decent, most people there arn't afraid of hiking so it doesn't "stay better longer". I've had better luck getting freshies at snowbirds "hike accessed terrain"

Yeah you can get more vert...if the lines arent horrible. The tram is always fucking packed and I hate having to stand up for a half an hour and wonder through a maze while my goggles fog up. Id rather be sitting on a nice lift. Gad 2 has lots of good shit off it too but again everytime i go there the line seems to be 20 minutes long. little cloud and Mineral B are okay but you cant see shit in either of those places if its snowing hard. I dunno i just cant stand the lines at Snowbird. especially the tram line, pain in the ass.

 
Uhhh do you always ask dumb questions? That 650 came during the season when they were open, meaning lots of great powder days. Also it means there is still a shit load of snow up there if you arent a lazy bastard against hiking.

 
you're raggin on snowbirds park and pipe? no offense to jordon, but look at what alta has compared to the bird...

and who would want to hike when they could still be riding a lift

 
the most that you will ever hike at alta takes you all but 5 minutes. Why would you want to sit in line for 30 minutes a time and only get less then a handfull of runs in compared to skiing right through at alta, and ski endless all day.

 
People are always talking about massive lines at the bird I must have missed them everytime I skied there this year because the lines at alta were just as bad this season
