60d vs. t3i and premiere vs.final cut pro x

I'm looking to get more into filming and editing. I've just used a gopro and imovie. Gopros are cool but I hate the quality. Imovie is nice for beginners but it is so limited. I've been looking around and I know I want final cut pro or premiere. However I have a few concerns.

1.) Premiere is much more expensive.

2.) Final Cut seems as if there is not as much features

3.) I have always used imovie. How hard is premiere because final cut seems somewhat similar.

Also, for the cameras, which one is better? I know they both have similar features except for the battery life and the shutter speed on the 60d are better.

I know there are a few threads on this kind of stuff but I really have some more specific questions.

Oh, and also, any recommendations for lenses?

Premier is really easy to use, if you don't want to pay, just Youtube search how to get it for free. Both 60D and T3i are great for video, if you can get a second hand 60D, go for it.

premiere pro is a much better software then final cut pro x. i feel like they kind of blew it with x. they made it super consumer, and it is almost a beefed up imovie.

You only think it's easy because you didn't have to create the crack, try doing it without assistance.

Ive used the T3i for about a year now, would have bought the 60D instead if I had knowledge of it at the time. Also I used to use final cut, but premiere is soooo much nicer.
