6-year-old is suspended for 45 days

i had one og thouse multi-utensils, they were wicked cool, im not sure if it could hurt somone but they are still wicked cool,

all i can say to the story is "only in America"
 
my brother got in shit once for bringing a knife to elementary school cuase he had to spread some mustard or something stupid like that
 
I'm thinking that the kid might not have said anything to his mom, because he obviously didn't think it would be a big deal. Zero-tolerance knife rules are just stupid. At my school, if they can see a knife IN YOUR CAR and its in the student lot you can get suspended. Come on, everyone has a pocket knife in their car. One of my friends got suspended for two weeks for having one in his backpack and he even had a legitimate reason. He goes straight from school to working at the ski hill and he needed it to cut ropes at work. Maybe he shouldn't have had a knife in his backpack but its not like he was showing it to everyone. They searched his locker because dogs hit on it, and even thought there were no drugs in there, they could still suspend him for the knife.
 
hes six. theres no possible way that his mother doesnt pack his backpack for him, and make his lunch for him. again, im not trying to excuse the absurdity of the situation. just kinda wondering where his mother was.
 
Hilariously, I was a bit of a troublemaker when I was 6, I got in a lot of fights with the older kids, and one time I actually brought a case full of darts to school and ran around at lunch break hucking them at them. How else was I supposed to win, they were bigger than me. I didn't get suspended though.
 
its mostly a bunch of overprotective liberal moms doing the compaining nowadays about these sorts of situations. they think little six year old timmy is going to try and stab their own child. a lot of parents today are too paranoid because of the media saying kids are fucked, so they fight against it by banning swiss army forks. i can't wait till our generation becomes parents, then those kids will have no leinancy at all.
 
Same kind of thing happen to my friend last year. He had a broken paintball gun with no CO2 or paintballs in his car and got suspended for the rest of the year. So basically his junior year was a wash. When did this country become a bunch of dumbasses? theres a difference between being fair and equal and just becuase its under theyre "disicipline matrix" and fits 1 of 4 catagories doesnt mean that a huge suspension is nessecary. We all have to deal with retards but sometimes when they gain control its rididcuolus the things they come up with
 
i think i was 12 when i brought in a loaded clip during deer season and i was asked to lock it in my locker until the end of class....why am i here again?

My mom mom works at my school and the one day she had to drive my brothers car which had 3 paintball guns, a shit ton of paintballs and some CO2. Nothing happened, thinking back on it I guess it could have been bad.

this whole "anything that can be used as a weapon is a weapon" zero tolerance policy in schools is such bullshit. before you know it some kid is gonna get stabbed with a pen, then they'll all be using felt tip markers on essays.

people are way too serious these days, this kid i knew brought a homemade bomb to school in grade 6 made out of crushed up fireworks in a tube and blew open a door and we just got yelled at by a teacher, and my friend brought an airsoft gun to school everyday in grade nine and we'd snipe out dumb bitches through the locker hinge. I think it's okay to bring weapons to school as long as you're responsible.
 
I was threatened community service and a suspension for 5 days because I was flicking a quarter up and down and I flicked it a little too high and it hit a teacher in the head, she freaked out and called the police, my dad who was on the school board and actually in Vegas with the super intendent at the time of the incident, long story short teacher had to write me a letter of apology and was close to losing her job. Oh ya I was 10.
 
i'm pretty sure I watched a fight.today where one jugg was stabbed. but fuck.this I don't get this what do ever this is worse then the time when I had a laser pointer on my back pack zipper in 2nd grade. what happens? I get suspended for 2 Weeks and threatened with expulsion..
 
A kid in 4th grade when I was in 6th grade in ( I SHOULD be in 3rd year uni now) brought an ancient like letter opener thingy in for show in tell and got suspended for a bunch of days

I got expelled from highschool for exchanging notes with this kid under ninja alter-egos. He was ninja gordon, I was ninja o'shanwnessy. They were depicting an epic battle along the lines of like "the dust will settle around your defeated body as i whip my numchucks back into thier shealth. they have pierced enough souls today."

and he would write back much the same kinda bullshit. "my ninja stars sent through time resurrect justice in our orient land, arching in perfect form, diving into your cranium and splitting your body in two perfect pieces with the precision of oragami. a white crane feasts on your remains as i am embraced by my dojo."

Seriously shit that far fetched, clearly joking around. After class I tossed the notes he wrote to me in the trash. Few days later, i get called into the principals office, police officers are waiting there. He shows me a photocopy of the notes, "you recognize these yadadada." becasue i couldnt prove he was writing them back i got taken away in handcuffs and expelled from highschool.
 
this is so bullshit. one kid from our school brought fireworks. Teacher saw them took him into principals office. he only had to call his mother and say that he had fireworks. nothing else.

It could've been categoried as illegal explosive hold.

and this kid gets suspended becos she brought dining equipment. Raurg, with what do you eat in america? You so should eat bare hands. you could kill eachother!!!!!!

i mean i was a lot older than 6 before my parents let me play with a pocket knife, but i mean he was eating lunch with it/look how happy and cute he is...so rediculous
 
I know its college and not elementary school but my school lets us brings our shotguns/rifles/bows on campus. They even have a locker room for them and a game cleaning room.

I live in Snohomish, so the school district. I know plenty of people who got suspended for the DUMBEST stuff ever.

At our school, it used to be a jail, so these kids went and explored it in the evening. They got it all on tape, they got "arrested" and then really suspended from school for like a week because of it. Everyone was like "Um, what are they trying to hide?"

I almost got suspended for parking my car and sitting in it at a nearby school district (even though we were out of school, they weren't). They brought me into the office and made a big deal about it....I went to school the next week and nothing ever happened.

Also, once this girl in PE (7th grade) had the same shoes as me and someone stole her shoes, so she thought it was me. So I got in trouble, and I was in the office and I called my mom and my mom was like "OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE DUMBEST THING EVER, LOOK AT THE TONGUE OF THOSE SHOES!", simple enough, my mom had wrote my name on the shoes. So I was like F YEAH. And I got my shoes back. And got un-suspended.

And then a couple got caught having sex in the band room when they were seniors, so they got suspended. I guess I can kinda get some of that.

I think I've had more problems with the cops in high school than the school itself, though.
 
so there is a bridge that spans over the cafeteria in my old high school. last year a kid got suspended for 2 weeks for throwing a beach ball off the bridge during lunch time.
