6 year old is crazy at soccer

where's he from?

I'd be kind of surprised if he made it big though. It seems like players who are really good really young have pretty much already peaked in ability, so once they get to be teens everyone else will have caught up to, or passed them. But whatever, good luck to him

hes way sick, but in pro soccer you might only make 4 moves in a game, and all he had in that vid was moves and no sick passes or shots

yea, and i happen to know a lot about soccer. And as has already been pointed out, all he really did in the video was tricks. You might be able to pull 1 or 2 tricks in a real game, but thats it. Just being able to pull that type of stuff is for the most part useless in real soccer. If he was godly at freekicks, had a solid shot, or even made any accurate passes, then he'd probably be able to make it all the way. If you look at the ronaldinho video, most of his stuff led to shots. Plus it was a lot more ball control (chesting it down, flicking it over people etc) and not just fancy footwork.

notice how i didnt list any professional soccer players?
thats cause soccers gotta be the gayest sport going

and your original point wasnt about how good the kid is or isnt, it was about young players growing up and losing their talent.
i disagreed and stated why with a list of professional athletes who are arguably tops in their sport who also just happened to be child prodigies.
now your talking about something completely different?
oh, and did i mention soccers fuckin gay anyways

yeah kids crazy. a little more development and passing and shit and just everything else about the game besides foot skills. hes already got foot skills on lock

ok, my bad. it's a thread about a soccer player so i was referring only to soccer players. Dismissing it as gay doesn't make you right.

What if i think golf, hockey, and tennis are "gay"? Suddenly my point becomes more valid and truthful than yours?

not at all
i think its already pretty evident my point is stronger then yours.
thats my personal opinion on soccer.and for the record, i happen to think tennis is a pretty queer sport too

what you said was in no way related to what i said. I'm talking specifically about soccer players, and even more specifically about this one kid. I don't see how you mentioning other young prodigies in completely different sports makes your point stronger. I mentioned how this can be a problem for just soccer players, and you're mentioning other unrelated sports

so are you calling all the billions of billions who support, play, and watch soccer worldwide gay too?

listen to the kid who your argueing about soccer, cus he is right. from the looks of this kids video he probably will not be a team player and pass and simple stuff like that. tricks and footwork is great for the streets and stuff, but on the pitch they dont help because you just dont have the time.

the best example i can think of for a kid soccer star is freddy adu (sp?) he kicked it off real hard, was in the press way too much, and now i dont hear a thing about him anywhere. so you need to shut the fuck up about the most loved sport in the world. thank you.

this kid is good. but growing up we had a player who was amazing, could pretty much take the ball down the field and score himself, but by u-17 everyone had caught up to him. He just didnt think he had to practice as much as everyone else. If this kid keeps with it hell be good. good luck to him

haha
you guys are both so gay.
soccer.what a joke
its the most loved sport in the world cause all you need is a fucking ball to play. so really its not the most loved, for alot of people its the only fucking option.
if there was no such thing as a third world country, guess what, hockey would prob be the worlds fav sport. but reality is, 90% of the worlds population cant afford $600 hockey skates, they can however afford a $20 soccer ball

anyways enjoy your 1-0 matches, and critiquing a 6 year old. im gonna go laugh at how fucking queer soccer is.
fags

trust me, i'll enjoy it just as much despite your disapproval. In fact, i think i like it more because the americans aren't in it. It's fun how its one of the few sports that the US isn't great at, so americans just deem it to be gay.

You have to realize when your 6 years old, you dont have the leg strength to kick the ball very high. You can see in the video he made passes, they just cut off the clip.

your so cool man, and SO tough too, and to claim hockey as the worlds favorite sport besides soccer, well i just dont have it in me to tear your ass a new hole, so im just going to say this: you sir are the most ignorant piece of fucking shit, you are so "gay" as you would say, you probably suck at most contact sports which you seem to be so found of, put your ass in a soccer game and it will probably be 20 minutes before you start to puke your brains out from fatigue, i am no soccer fan myself but i respect the sport, unlike you, who respects nothing because its all too gay for you, maybe you are just the gay one, you faggot

yea, i watched it again and you can see there are a few passes but then it gets cut off.

You wanna see someone who will probably be extremely good in a few years, look up Enzo Zidane. Zinedine's son, he's got huge potential, and just the Zidane name already has clubs interested in him

kk the angry people are coming out.

sooooo leave it at this

kids f*cking insane

and soccer is one of the most physically demanding and respected sports in the world.

for real, and i dont think the public gave a shit about it, this kid has no idea what he is saying, hes best off moving to canada

he's incredibly skilled for a 6 year old, but it's hard to tell if he'll make it big jus from watching that. for all we know he might never practise actual game play with other players just because he thinks those tricks are way more fun. But then other kids will catch up to him on the skill scale, and he's just an average player. It happened to two of the players on my team. They were amazing when we played for fun when we were like 6-8, but then other kids just caught up and beat them.

yes, i play football. I absolutely love football. I'm a goalkeeper for my football team.

and say what you want, because i'm french, so football to me is your soccer.

agreed. theres nothing THAT amazing about being able to do stepovers and maradonas at six years old. if he uses the next few years to work on speed and positioning then hes got a good chance of going somewhere but if he only focuses on skills hes no more than a juggler.

Football, the oldest form of football can be traced back to 2nd or 3rd bc when the chinese used a ball and had to kick it through a goal to score, the modern form of football was made in the 19th century "to standardise the widely varying forms of football played at the public schools of England", and to this day this form is played.
Hockey, coneived around the 19th century, usually mainly played in cold regions as ice is needed.
I hate football too, Yes its FOOTBALL not SOCCER, and am a rugby player at heart, but by these few facts i hope you have learnt your always wrong and should not make stupid comments like before ever again.

Yeah that kid has some awesome tricks, but like most people said ball skills are only part of the game.

Also the fact that most of the kids he was playing were 6 too. Anyone who can do simple tricks can get around the average 6 year old.
