what could be done to help him? i cant think of anything. maybe a hovering heli with a rope ladder? kids only 6 idk if he could pull that off. he is up in the fucking sky tho
 
hahaha shit. I saw the baloon when I turned on the TV and the news happened to be on. I switched the channel thinking the news had nothing else to talk about but a weather balloon. I didn't think anything of it.

That would be fucked if it popped. They just said the helium could take days to escape the balloon so he could be stuck for a while.
 
hopefully not, but I think they would have seen that. Is there even a window or something on the little cabin on the bottom, like can he see out, or is he just in a dark little room?

Yeah really, why do the parents keep an experimental aircraft where a six year old not only has easy access to, but is able to successfully launch it? And what exactly were they doing with a balloon like that anyway? Was that just a side project or something?
 
the balloon is deflating. they think an air rescue at this point is impossible. theyre trying to get a ground crew to where its going to land. its also dropped from 7000 to about 6000 feet.
