Seriously? Where were these 6 inches? They posted this lovely photo to go along with the 6 inch claim. I just want to know how this is supposed to be 6 inches... Looks like maybe 2 inches. Just enough dust to cover some of his skis and create a tiny trail.... Either they are confused or someone in their marketing department needs to hit over the head for posting this with the title of 6 inches.

I was at A BAsin today. They claimed 4. I defintiely saw 4+ inches when I skied Loveland Pass but there definitely wasn't that much inbounds.

well i didnt get to the mtn til like 11:30 so that might have something to do with it haha.

what lift are those pillows off of? is that even in bounds?

Anyone who post silly threads like this are simply advertising that they don't know anything about their home mountains....
That's a 24 hour total, it was snowing the day before and believe it or not....people were skiing there!
Oh no! Not 6" reported on a groomer! When has that ever happened in Summit? Obviously the biggest totals will be on areas where snow piles up, not at the bottom. Everyone who's gone skiing before (should) know that resorts pick ideal areas to measure snow.
Let's beat this horse some more, yes? And in closing....6" on top of ice is nothing so who cares anyway.

That's why I posted it. Usually Breck milks the shit out of the snow with photos. You can make 6 inches look good.... I'm just amazed that they had the nerve to post that photo with 6" and Powder Day!

Usually one posts pictures that relates to their snow totals.

Yeah, I almost went by myself today but decided not to since it wouldn't be worth all the gas money for 4-6 inches. Definitely regretting that decision.

I don't even know what Vail reported today. But there was a solid 12" of fresh on the ground. And we probably got another 4" through the day.

haha thats totally OB. Rockpile? Saw your whip there that day, we hit the alleys off off beavers. Snow was....ok. Today was INSANE

yeah, cant complain, the sun was nice, snow was good on the north facing aspects...the second you moved onto non north-facing stuff that was exposed it turned granular and shitty. really wish i could have gone today, but you know, school.

I think I saw you at the gate skiers right larkspur, that shit was insane in there today, snow was money and the chutes were sick. Felt bad for the kid who lost his ski in there though.

Dam tomorrows sounds like its gonna be epic. Probably the best last powder day of the season. Now should I go to my three classes tomorrow or skip them???

fuckkkk, i'm in the same boat. i'm about to hop in my car and just drive there tomorrow morning but i have so much i have to do.

sunday at breck was pretty decent, got some fresh tracks off the tbar that were around 1-2 feet deep, absolutely no lines. Its was dumping here in aspen all yesterday, bluebird today. too bad I gotta work, hopefully I can sneak in a few runs.
