540's in the pipe

sry if i'm pissing off anybody by being a n00b, but i did use the search bar, and i found nothing on how to do a 540 in the pipe. all my snowboarder friends can do it so i need tips please, oh and also this is my first year new schooling. so please be gentle lol

i have q if u do a 540 in the pipe, technically u land forward rite???? if u takeoff forward?? cus i swear i did a 360 the other day and i landed backward...

yes you land forward. Go in to the wall fast. wait til the top of the pipe spin then land WAHUUU

make sure you have sharp edges skiing pipe on park skis (skis you hit rails with and have no edges) is a bitch you cant carve up the walls and you slide all over

i have been having difficultiues wit 5's in the pipes...my tips always hit the wall on the last half rotation

You're popping too early, wait until it feels unbearabley late before you pop.

The way I first hit a 5 in the pipe is I just flew down the side of the pipe wicked ass fast and then dropped in with about 40 mph of speed...

then I didnt even need to spin so fast and I still had plenty of time to set up my landing... should have gone for the 7 though.. i had plenty of air to do it..

going off axis makes it cooler, just be sure u have enough air to bring your skis down after the spin.
