Anyone got any tips on how to throw a 5? I've landed one before but it was ugly as fuck, so I was wondering if anyone could specify on what grabs look sick etc

Blunt and mutes look sick. If you want to do one like proper style (gymnastics like look) set like a 360 then wrap at 180.

keep your head turned to the direction you are spinning past 360. your legs and body will follow.

haha I actually did learn that from freestyle america. I personally don't like doing them like that, thats why I specified that it would look proper and gymnastic like.

Just go for the spin - set, initiate and look the whole way around. Keep your shoulders tight and in-line. As far as grabs go, i prefer mutes most of the time for plain spins. That, or tails. Any grab, bring the skis to you so that you don't go off balance going for the grab.

spread leags at takeoff and make sure you tuck it in and wrap i taround at least to get them down and comfy then toss in a grab

ok so just practice your 3s and 1s as much as you can. like at least 5 runs worth of just doing them on all kinds of jumps. get comfortable with that and just spin a bit more on your 3. you will be able to spot the landing and ride away just like a 1 for your 5. the more practice you have with the 3s and 1s the more comfortable youll be throughout. and once you land it nicely obviously practice them and they will get better. i would suggest doing everything on jumps bigger than 30 feet or not baby park jumps to make them look cooler and not like your a hellicopter idiot trying to spin a lot on a 20 footer

with a nice fat, shoulder-width stance, put the bunny through the hole, around the tree, up through the burrow, and stomp that shit doggystyle

When I do 5s I kind of set the spin to do a 450, and then turn my legs for the last bit. Very easy to spot the landing that way.
