5'10 and 169?

im soo frustrated. im 5'10, 170 lbs, and i got 166 foils last year so i can't get new skis this year. Is it worth it? theyre mad shoret

im 5'9 and weigh 126 pounds (yea im light) and im riding 161 invaders, i know there prob mass short but my ski hill doesnt have a jump bigger then like 15 feet. Im a pretty new to sking only my 2nd year will i be good for this year?

they're pretty short, but since your just getting into skiing you'll be fine, but definately get bigger skis next year

there ok but it really comes down to ur preferance, due u like shorter skis or longer skis...if u like shorter ski great, if u like longer skis well...

hahahah are u serious. thats at least 4 or 5 inches over ur head. what are u going to do with that much ski. im 6' 4" and i ride either 171 or i just got 179 this year. say what u want but skis shouldnt be over ur head unless ur glen plake/a long boarder

really depends, if its just a park ski your fine. im 6'1, and ride a 176 for park and just cruising. 190 for pow and steeps though.

I have been Skiing for about a good 10 years and i have had twin tip skis for about 2 years and i am about 5'5 about 120 and i was wondering what size ski i should get for this season

im 5'6 and just got 171's

seriously though, i compared my new ninthwards (171) to my 148 scratch pros. the ninthwards are about less than a foot longer.

those skis will be perfect if you have a problem with croossing your tips but otherwise you will want them longer

silencers are kinda heavy and way stiff. you will be fine on 169's im 5'9ish and i had the 179s and they were a little too much.

im getting 171's this year. getting longer skis is overrated

too short, wtf were you thinking? i'm 5'9" and ride 179s and 189s. grow some balls and get some real skis, not snowblades.

wow your getting angry about what length ski someone rides, how about you grow some balls?

there is nothing wrong with getting shorter skis, some skis are better for it and some arent. silencers are a perfect ski to get shorter than normal, they are stiff and stable as fuck, if anything going shorter is gonna help.

totally depends on where you ski and ability.

Im about the same size as you and ski 179 found it to be a good length, previously I was on a 169 and it wasnt bad only really felt limited while hitting bigger tables and pow days.
