Well guess what? In Vermont it is supposed to be from -30 degrees to-50degrees farenheit with the windchill on tuesday night - wednsday afternoon. That is so freakin cold. It is supposed to be the coldest it has been here in 100 the news says. isnt that wack!

It was like -20 something this weekend and I was out on the mountain... so cold.

I wish I went to CVU I live like 6 damn minutes from there. They NEVER cancel school in addison county so dumb.

it was under -50 celsius in ontario at the end of last week, and will be again this week when another super cold spell comes in. thats counting windchill, by the way.

so anyways, thats colder than -50 farenheit.

AngelicRage, it was -20 last year without windchill here, but it is suppused to be even colder than that was. Trust me, ive been checkin. I really dont want school

yeah I've toughed colder than -20 (none of this is talking windchill) but being on the mountain with one pair of socks on and no neck warmer sucks. BUT I AM DIE HARD.

theres no such thing as windchill, if is 10 degrees out and a 30 mile per hour wind is blowing, then its just that, 10 degrees out with a 30 mile per hour wind. Joeys came up with wind chill cuz there pussys. In the summer you dont say its 85 degrees, but the wind is blowing so its really 65, do you?

actually vtrider windchill is a term used by the weather community and it has a scientific basis. you can actually calculate wind chill with a wet bulb thermometer. its how cold it feels, not how cold it is. wind blows heat away from you body and makes the air feel colder than it actually is, hence the term wind chill. if you dont understand this your just redonkulous.

Yes , i count on the wind chill and how it feels, not the actuall temp. like snonasty said, if its 20 with windchill of -2, are you gonna wear stuff for 20 degree weather or -2 degree weathewr. Id say the -2.
